The 4th-year students of the Electrical Engineering Department proudly participated in the General Membership Meeting and Technical Seminar for Calendar Year 2026 organized by the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) – Aklan Chapter.

We sincerely thank Engr. Adelino V. Garcia Jr., P*E, Chairman of the Professional Regulation Board of Electrical Engineering, for his in-depth talk on “Essentials of Earthing Design as per IEEE 80-2013.” His expertise and real-world insights gave students a clearer grasp of earthing systems, electrical safety, and the critical role of proper design in protecting people, equipment, and facilities.

The session sparked curiosity and motivated our future engineers to pursue excellence and accountability in their work.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers of the Philippines, Inc. (IIEE) – Aklan Chapter for providing this valuable opportunity for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
