The MSU-Sultan Naga Dimaporo ROTC Unit successfully conducted its 3rd Regular Training Day, emphasizing the cadets’ commitment to learning, discipline, and military training despite a 10-hour power interruption.

📍0730𝙃 – 𝙌𝙍 𝘾𝙊𝘿𝙀 𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙎𝘾𝘼𝙉𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂

The training day commenced with the systematic QR Code Attendance Scanning through ROTCMIS, ensuring proper and efficient monitoring of cadet attendance.

📍0800𝙃–0930𝙃 – 𝘾𝙇𝘼𝙎𝙎𝙍𝙊𝙊𝙈 𝙄𝙉𝙎𝙏𝙍𝙐𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉: 𝘿𝙍𝙄𝙇𝙇𝙎 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝘾𝙀𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙄𝙀𝙎 1

Sgt Junjie L Bahian PA (Res) conducted the classroom instruction on Drills and Ceremonies 1. However, this was not a typical classroom setting. Amidst the 10-hour absence of electricity, the instruction continued under the trees at the ground field, proving that learning and military training continue regardless of the circumstances.

The cadets were introduced to the fundamental concepts of Drills and Ceremonies, including:

🔹 Drills
🔹 Common Drill Terminologies
🔹 Drill Command and Command Voice
🔹 Individual Movement Not Under Arms
🔹 Individual Movement Under Arms

The lesson emphasized that drills develop skill, coordination, precision, discipline, and teamwork among military personnel.

📍 0945𝙃–1130𝙃 – 𝙋𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙄𝘾𝘼𝙇 𝙀𝙓𝙀𝙍𝘾𝙄𝙎𝙀𝙎

Following the instructional period, the cadets proceeded to practical exercises on Drills and Ceremonies, applying the concepts and commands discussed during the lesson.

Through hands-on training, the cadets developed familiarity with proper movements, formations, commands, and military bearing.

📍1130𝙃–1200𝙃 – 𝙌𝙍 𝘾𝙊𝘿𝙀 𝘼𝙏𝙏𝙀𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙎𝙄𝙂𝙉-𝙊𝙐𝙏

The training concluded with the QR Code Attendance Scanning through ROTCMIS, completing the official attendance monitoring for the training day.

2ND REGULAR TRAINING DAY | AY 2026–2027

On 12 0700H September 2026, the Training Staff and Advance ROTC Officers of the MSU–Sultan Naga Dimaporo ROTC Unit conducted the 2nd Regular Training Day.

The activity commenced with ROTCMIS QR Code Scanning for Attendance, ensuring an organized and efficient accounting of personnel. This was followed by the Flag Raising Ceremony, conducted in participation with the Culmination of the 47th National Reservist Week 2026 via Zoom, highlighting the ROTC Unit’s continuing commitment to patriotism, national service, and the reserve force development.

Following the ceremony, the cadets proceeded with Field Instruction on Basic Harapan, providing practical training and strengthening their knowledge and skills through hands-on instruction.

The training continued with Classroom Instruction conducted by MSg Dario P. Alesna PA (Res), focusing on relevant military knowledge and principles essential to the development of disciplined, knowledgeable, and capable ROTC cadets.

Through continuous and progressive training, the MSU–SND ROTC Unit remains committed to developing cadets with discipline, leadership, patriotism, and a strong sense of duty—preparing them to become responsible citizens and future leaders in service to the nation.
