🌙✨ Eid Mubarak! ✨🌙

Warm greetings from the Mindanao State University - Sultan Naga Dimaporo Muslim Students’ Association 🤍

TaqabbalAllahu minna wa minkum!
May Allah accept all our عبادات, forgive our sins, and allow us to witness many more Ramadans.

As we celebrate today, don’t forget the Sunnah of Eid:
• Make ghusl before going out
• Eat dates (odd number) before Eid prayer
• Say the Takbeer on your way to the prayer
• Go early to the Eid الصلاة 🕌
• Take one route going and a different route returning
• Give Zakat al-Fitr before the prayer
• Wear your best (with modesty) and spread joy
• Visit family, mend ties, and forgive others

Let’s celebrate with sincerity, not forgetfulness.
Eid is not just about clothes and food—it's about hearts that stayed connected to Allah after Ramadan.

🌙 Eid Mubarak to you and your family! May your joy be accepted and your deeds multiplied.

𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 30✨

As Ramadan comes to an end, remember Eid is more than appearances, it’s about sincerity.

Don’t let the focus be on outfits while the heart is forgotten.
Beautify yourself outwardly, but even more importantly, purify your القلب for the sake of Allah

Finish Ramadan strong, and carry that same heart beyond it.
TaqabbalAllahu minna wa minkum. May Allah accept from us and from you.

Bangsamoro M***i, Sheikh Abdulrauf Guialani, announced that the crescent moon was not visible during the moon sighting led by the Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’ (BDI). Consequently, Muslims in the Philippines will fast for one more day to complete the 30 days of Ramadhan and will celebrate Eid’l Fit’r on March 21, 2026.

May Allah SWT accept all our ibadah (worship) during this holy month. Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum. The Bangsamoro Government extends an advanced Eid Mubarak to the entire Muslim Ummah. May the spirit of Ramadhan remind us to carry kindness, gratitude, and generosity throughout the year.

Not everything passed down is part of the Deen.
Sometimes culture speaks louder than truth, and we follow without questioning.

Islam was never meant to be inherited blindly — it was meant to be understood, lived, and followed with knowledge.

Open the Qur’an. Learn. Reflect.
Because on the Day of Judgment, “I was just following others” won’t be enough.

This activity will determine the end of Ramadhan and the beginning of Shawwal.

If the moon will be sighted, Eid’l Fit’r will be on Friday, March 20, 2026. If otherwise, the congregational prayer for the end of Ramadhan will be on Saturday, March 21, 2026. In Shaa Allah.

The Bangsamoro M***i will deliver the official declaration live following the Isha prayer. We invite everyone to tune in to the live broadcast on the official pages of the Bangsamoro Government and the BDI for the moon sighting result.

𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 28 🤍

Before you leave, read Ayat al-Kursi and say:

“Bismillahi tawakkaltu ‘alallahi wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.”
(In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no power and no strength except with Allah.)

The Prophet Muhammad taught that when a person says this before leaving the house, it is said to them: “You are guided, protected, and sufficed.” And the devils move away from them.

We live in a world full of uncertainty, harm, and distractions. But a believer walks outside with something stronger than fear — trust in Allah.

So make it a habit.
Before you step out into the world, take a moment to remember Allah and place your trust in Him.

Because the greatest protection is the protection of Allah.

𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐒𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦-𝐖𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐫’𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟏𝟒𝟒𝟕

Alhamdulillah, the Mindanao State University – Sultan Naga Dimaporo, through its Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), humbly participated in the Qur’an Experience 1447, a system-wide Qur’anic recitation event held at MSU-Main, Marawi City on March 13–14, 2026.

The gathering brought together reciters from MSU-Gensan, MSU-Sulu, MSU-Maguindanao, MSU-SND, MSU-TCTO, and MSU-IIT, providing a blessed platform to demonstrate mastery of Tajwid, sincerity in recitation, and devotion to Allah (SWT) through the Holy Qur’an.

Representing MSU-SND, our students exemplified dedication and piety:

Female Category (March 13): 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝐏. 𝐀𝐜𝐦𝐚𝐝, BSED Filipino, delivered her recitation with humility and focus, reflecting her love for the Qur’an and commitment to perfecting its recitation.

Male Category (March 14): 𝐇𝐞𝐳𝐚𝐦 𝐋. 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐭, BSED Mathematics, performed with calmness and precision, showcasing his discipline and devotion to Allah (SWT) through the beauty of Tajwid.

Guiding and supporting them in this journey is their mentor, 𝐒𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧 𝐄. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨, a faculty member from the College of Agriculture (COA). We sincerely thank her, and may Allah (SWT) reward her for her dedication, guidance, and tireless support in nurturing the students’ Qur’anic excellence.

The MSU-SND community offers heartfelt gratitude to 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐫. 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐁. 𝐃𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐨 𝐓𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐥𝐡𝐚𝐣𝐣𝐚, for her continuous guidance and support, enabling students to pursue excellence in both spiritual and academic endeavors.

Through this participation, MSU-SND reaffirms its commitment to nurturing Qur’anic learning, strengthening faith, and inspiring students to deepen their connection with Allah (SWT) through the Holy Qur’an.

Masha Allah, congratulations to 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐡, 𝐇𝐞𝐳𝐚𝐦 𝐏𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨𝐭, and the MSU-SND MSA for representing the university with honor, piety, and excellence.

Allah teaches us this beautiful du‘a in the Qur'an:

رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَلِوَٰلِدَىَّ وَٱرْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِى صَغِيرًا
“My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.”
(Surah Al-Isra 17:24)

Even if your parents are no longer with you in this dunya, your du‘a can still benefit them. A simple prayer from you can raise their rank and bring them mercy.

So never forget to include your parents in your du‘a.
Ask Allah to forgive them, have mercy on them, and grant them the highest place in Jannah.

Because one of the greatest gifts a child can give their parents is a sincere du‘a. 🤍🌙

Ramadan shows you something important about yourself: you are capable of more than you think.

The discipline, patience, and worship you practice this month reveal your true potential. It shows that with the help of Allah, you can build habits you once thought were impossible.

So don’t let these changes disappear when Ramadan ends.
Let this month be the proof that you are stronger than your excuses and closer to Allah than you realized.

Because in Ramadan, you don’t just worship more — you discover the person you are capable of becoming. 🌙🤍

𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐲 25

Many people remember the first part—never look down on others with arrogance. The Prophet Muhammad S.A.W warned that arrogance can destroy a person’s heart.

But we often forget the second part. Thinking you are worthless, hopeless, or beyond mercy can also be a trap. It can make you lose hope in the mercy of Allah.

Islam teaches balance: humility without arrogance, and dignity without pride. No one is better than another except through sincerity and righteousness—and only Allah truly knows what is in the hearts.

So never think you are better than someone.
But also never think you are too low to be forgiven or guided.

Walk with humility, but never lose hope in Allah’s mercy. 🤍🌙
