The JRMSU-KATIPUNAN ROTC Unit proudly celebrates a remarkable milestone, earning an outstanding 99.95% rating EXCELLENT (GOLD) during the ROTC Annual Administrative and Tactical Inspection (RAATI) for School Year 2025–2026.

The activity was graced by COL IAN NOEL P IGNES MNSA (INF) PA, Commander for Reservist and Retiree Affairs,1st Infantry (Tabak) Division, Philippine Army, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

We also recognize the presence and invaluable contributions of COL MANDY T LIBERTINO ART (GSC) PA, 902nd Director, CPT ROLAN L EBILLO NC (RES), Assistant Commandant, CPT CESAR S BALA PA (RES), Tactical Officer and Pfc Christine B Diniay PA (Res), Former Battalion Corps Commander, whose leadership, dedication, and commitment have contributed to the unit's continued pursuit of excellence.

This remarkable achievement reflects the discipline, teamwork, leadership, and unwavering commitment of our cadet officers, cadets, and training staff. It stands as a testament to the unit's dedication to upholding the highest standards of military training, administration, and service.

The Advance ROTC Officers of the Jose Rizal Memorial State University – Katipunan Campus ROTC Unit have officially received their subsistence allowance (SA) from the Philippine Army, a testament to the institution’s continued commitment to supporting and sustaining the welfare of its future leaders.

This support serves as a reminder that every cadet officers carries a responsibility greater than oneself, the responsibility to lead with integrity, serve with dedication, and uphold the highest standards of discipline and patriotism even if they are still students. May this assistance further strengthen the resolve of our cadet officers to remain steadfast in their training, committed to their mission, and prepared to answer the call of duty.

The Jose Rizal Memorial State University – Katipunan Campus ROTC Unit successfully carried out its 7th Training Day under the supervision of CPT CESAR S BALA PA (Res), Tactical Officer and Sgt Roderick P Acoymo (OS) PA, Tactical NCO, alongside the Training Staff, 1CL, 2CL, and Aspirants, headed by CDT LTC JOSHUA M TUMENEZ (ROTC) 1CL, Battalion Commander.

The day's activities began with the arrival of the cadets, followed by attendance verification and formation at the training field. The cadets engaged in close-order drills and various military exercises aimed at improving their discipline, military bearing, physical fitness, coordination, and teamwork. These exercises also emphasized the importance of obedience, dedication, unity, and professionalism in military training.

In addition to the practical training, the cadets took their midterm examination as part of their academic requirements. The examination evaluated their understanding of the lessons and principles discussed throughout their training. It also provided an opportunity for them to demonstrate their knowledge of military science, leadership, discipline, and civic responsibility. This academic assessment highlighted the importance of balancing physical preparedness with intellectual growth, critical thinking, and responsible decision-making in developing competent and effective future leaders.

The successful completion of the 7th Training Day reflected the dedication, cooperation, and commitment of the Advance Officers and cadets. Through the combination of practical exercises and academic assessment, the training further strengthened their leadership qualities, character, knowledge, and military competencies. These experiences continue to prepare them to become disciplined ROTC members, responsible citizens, and future leaders committed to serving the nation.

• Black pants (not baggy pants)
• Garrison belt (silver buckle)
• White socks
• White shoes

PROPER BEARING FOR MALE CADETS:
• Maintain a proper haircut
• No mustache or beard
• No accessories
• No long nails

PROPER BEARING FOR FEMALE CADETS:
• For long hair, tie it neatly in a bun, use a hairnet, and apply hair gel for a clean appearance.
• For short hair, brush it up neatly or use hairpins with hair gel.
• Wear a sando underneath the white shirt.
• No accessories or makeup
• No long nails or nail polish

ATTENTION ‼️

There will be No Training Day tomorrow. The JRMSU–Katipunan Campus ROTC Unit informs all cadets that there will be NO ROTC TRAINING on October 10, 2026 (Saturday) in observance of Silent Week. This temporary suspension is intended to give all cadets sufficient time for reflection, academic preparation, and review for the upcoming Midterm Examinations. All cadets are encouraged to use this time wisely and focus on their academic responsibilities. Regular ROTC Training will resume to the following week as scheduled.
