📚 Final Examination Week Concludes

As the final semester officially comes to a close, students now await the release of their examination results with anticipation and hope. Outside the faculty office, the atmosphere reflects the shared experience of every student who has worked hard, endured sleepless nights, and given their best throughout the semester.

For many, this moment carries the question of whether the coming summer will be a time for rest or an opportunity to continue learning through summer classes. Regardless of the outcome, may every student remember that perseverance, discipline, and courage remain essential parts of the academic journey.

To all future engineers, may you take pride in the effort you have shown and the challenges you have overcome. Whatever the results may be, let them serve as motivation to continue striving, learning, and growing.

📌 OJT Candidates Meeting | April 22, 2026

The College of Engineering successfully concluded its meeting with the OJT candidates and their parents/guardians last April 22, 2026, at the USM-KCC Social Hall.

The meeting served as an avenue to discuss important reminders, expectations, and preparations for the upcoming On-the-Job Training journey of our future engineers.

Thank you to all students, parents, and guardians who attended and showed their support. Your presence plays an important role as our OJT candidates take another step toward professional growth and real-world experience. ⚙️✨

The College of Engineering Day 2026 has officially concluded, and after a month-long celebration filled with talent, teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination, the final overall ranking has been revealed.

Congratulations to JPSME for securing the Overall Champion title with 1,220 points, proving their excellence, unity, and strong competitive spirit throughout the celebration.

The PIIE followed as the First Runner-Up with 1,080 points, showing outstanding performance and dedication across different events.
The USMEES earned the title of Second Runner-Up with 980 points, proudly representing their organization with passion, strength, and perseverance.

Congratulations to all participating organizations for making College of Engineering Day 2026 a meaningful and memorable celebration. Beyond the scores and rankings, this event showcased the true spirit of the College of Engineering — unity, excellence, and pride.

The College of Engineering recently concluded its Sports Tournament as part of the College of Engineering Day 2026 celebration.

After weeks of exciting matchups, intense rallies, powerful spikes, quick footwork, and unforgettable plays, the tournament finally recognized the teams and players who rose above the competition. Each game became a showcase of discipline, teamwork, endurance, and true engineering spirit.

From the fast-paced matches of Badminton Singles Men and Women, the coordination and chemistry displayed in Badminton Mixed Doubles, the energy and agility shown in Frisbee, the strength and teamwork in Volleyball Men and Women, to the competitive battles on the Basketball court, every athlete gave their best and represented their teams with pride.

Congratulations to all the winners, participants, organizers, and supporters who made the College of Engineering Day 2026 Sports Tournament a meaningful and memorable part of the celebration. More than the medals and titles, this event proved that the College of Engineering is not only built on intelligence and innovation, but also on passion, unity, and sportsmanship.

The 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 College of Engineering recently concluded its eSports Tournament as part of the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 2026 College of Engineering Day 2026 celebration.

After a long journey filled with intense matches, teamwork, strategy, and determination, the tournament finally crowned its champions. Each team and player showcased not only their skills in the game but also the spirit of sportsmanship and unity within the College of Engineering.

For 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀: 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗞𝗡𝗠𝗕 emerged victorious, with 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗱 𝗢𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁 earning the title of Most Valuable Player for his outstanding performance throughout the tournament.

In 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲, the 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 team claimed the championship, with 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗚𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻 recognized as the Most Valuable Player for his impressive gameplay, focus, and contribution to the team’s success.

For 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘀: 𝗚𝗼 𝗚𝗼, Magic Chess: Go Go, 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴'𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘀 secured the victory, proving his strategic thinking and mastery of the game.

The College of Engineering recently concluded its month-long celebration of 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆 2026 last 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 23, 2026, at the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 - 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀

The venue was filled with passion, excitement, and inspiration as students, faculty, and guests gathered to celebrate the spirit of engineering. One of the highlights of the event was the presence of the guest speaker, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗹 𝗚. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗱𝘀𝘆, 𝗘𝗖𝗘, who inspired the students with her heartfelt and meaningful message.

Through her words, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆 reminded the future engineers of the importance of perseverance, dedication, and purpose in pursuing their dreams. Her message served as a powerful encouragement for students to continue striving for excellence, not only in academics but also in service, leadership, and innovation.

The celebration became more than just a gathering of talents and achievements; it became a reminder of the strong bond within the College of Engineering and the shared commitment to build, create, and inspire. As the event came to a close, it left the students with renewed motivation and pride as members of the engineering community.

𝗖𝗢𝗘 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆, 𝗛𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽

To foster connection and showcase engineering students' skills, the College of Engineering (COE) students of the University of Southern Mindanao-Kidapawan City Campus convened for their annual COE Day 2026, held on April 23 at the Campus Covered Court.

With the theme, "Where bridges unite, innovation ignites," the event featured numerous activities that showcased not only the students' intellect but also their talents and skills.

This year's COE Day is composed of multiple activities from artistry to wit, which tested the intellect of every student coming from the three tribes: the Fang Tribes, represented by BS Industrial Engineering students; the Spine Tribes, represented by BS Electrical Engineering students; and the Talon Tribes, represented by BS Mechanical Engineering students, as they vie for this year's championship title.

The 10-day competition concluded with the Talon Tribes reigning supreme in this year's annual Engineering Day, accumulating a total score of 1,220, followed by the Fang Tribes with a total score of 1,080, and the Spine Tribes with a total score of 980.

Initiated by the Local Student Government of the COE (LSG-COE), the various competitions were held every afternoon after class from April 13 to April 23, 2026, where students were able to display their strategies and competitiveness.

The Engineering Day is an avenue for builders and crafters of new structures to gather, socialize, and exhibit that they are not just masters of numbers, but also of competitions; the event also served as a way for students to let loose amidst academic pressure.
