Green Valley College - College of Business Education Green Valley College - College of Business Education The School of Management positions itself as a premier center for management education in the region.

As an academic center, it aims to:
1. Introduce practical to complex management concepts to students that will prepare them to become leaders in the industry;
2. Introduce and enhance business skills that can be utilized for existing and emerging entrepreneurial and employment opportunities;
3. Engage students in initiatives that will promote knowledge transfer from the industry; and
4. Develop a

strong sense of ethics and social responsibility as professionals. The growing demand for motivated, competent and qualified business graduates has prompted the institution to offer intensive and relevant programs handled by a strong pool of management educators and professionals. The Hospitality Management Department
The department is a key learning center for hospitality professionals. Being one of the pioneers of the hotel and restaurant management education in the community, the department has established its reputation of producing multi-skilled graduates that are now deployed in the different parts of the world. This learning center has been consistent in producing milestones for the institution in terms of the awards it has received in competitions and the achievements of its alumni. Programs Offered
• BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management (Honors)
• BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management
• Associate in Hotel and Restaurant Management The Hotel and Restaurant Management programs are designed to develop highly skilled professionals that have competencies for a wide range of hotel and restaurant operations, may it be land-based or sea-based. These competencies include commercial cooking, food and beverage services, housekeeping, baking and pastry production, tour guiding, travel services and bar tending. Considered to be the premium program of the institution, our graduates are expected to cope with the high demands of the hotel and restaurant industry.
• BS in Tourism Management (Honors)
• BS in Tourism Management The expected growth of the tourism industry in the country and worldwide will only realize with the presence of trained tourism professionals that has a strong cultural background with a global orientation. This program aims to develop tourism professionals with comprehensive exposure to the industry and has the necessary skills needed for general tourism operations.
• BS in Travel Management The program will provide knowledge and skills in operating travel agencies. It seeks to produce graduates that are highly competent in the industry of Travel. The course includes marketing, sales, itinerary planning, entrepreneurship and tour guiding. These courses will prepare students for the competitive world of travel management operations. The Business Management Department
Two of the college’s pioneering formal Bachelor degree programs – The Business Administration and Office Administration (formerly Secretarial Administration) – is from this department. The Business Management department is the premier learning center for applied business education that aims to develop graduates with relevant competencies designed for the highly competitive corporate careers or for entrepreneurial endeavors. • BS in Business Administration major in Operations Management
• BS in Business Administration major in Marketing Management
• BS in Business Administration major in Financial Management
• BS in Business Administration major in Human Resource Management
• Associate in Business Administration (applied) The Business Administration program provides comprehensive foundational and advanced management training to the next business leaders of our community. The students will be exposed to the different functional areas of management and also provide specialization tracks for those who would like to pursue careers in financial management, human resource management and management accounting.
• BS in Office Administration
• Associate in Office Administration The Office Administration programs develop students to perform the critical function of general office management in support of managers and executives in the front and back office operations. Those who will go through the Office Management programs are well versed in Stenography and best practices in filing and organization as secretaries and administrative assistants.
• BS in Entrepreneurship Now considered to be the department’s rising star, the BS in Entrepreneurship program is designed to develop the next generation of socially-responsible, dynamic and proactive entrepreneurs of Mindanao. The Entrepreneurship program will expose the students to the rigors of the business cycle from conception/planning to enterprise implementation and up to enterprise growth.

Green Valley College Foundation, Inc. (GVCFI), through the College of Business Education (CBE) and the Green Valley College Integrated Basic Education Department (IBE), proudly participated in the 7th BMAP MindaNOW Summit 2026 held in Digos City.

Anchored on the theme “BMAP MindaNOW 2026: Gen BIZ – Driving Innovation, Creating Opportunities, Transforming Mindanao,” the summit brought together young business minds from different institutions across Mindanao for a meaningful celebration of business education, entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, creativity, and excellence.

Beyond representing the institution, our students embraced the opportunity to challenge their skills, share their talents, exchange ideas, and learn alongside fellow young business leaders. Their participation reflects GVCFI’s commitment to developing students who are prepared to become innovative thinkers, responsible leaders, and future contributors to the business community.
