The Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers Pre-Professional Group, Benguet State University Chapter conducted an Advanced 3D AutoCAD Workshop on September 26, 2026 at the College of Engineering. Through the facilitation of Mr. Jude Curby K. Pakigan, the event reiterated the concepts of the User Coordinate System (UCS) and the importance of Viewbox as the main reference in the creation of 3D objects. Following the review of the basic 2D and 3D commands, the advanced commands were thoroughly explained with simultaneously series of workshops. By taking the participants from interface fundamentals to creating complete 3D models, the workshop builds technical confidence and enhances output quality for academic coursework and future professional practice.

On September 05, 2026, the Philippine Society of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers Pre-Professional Group Benguet State University Chapter in partnership with the Student for Liberty conducted a seminar on Green Liberty entitled "Green Tech: Redefining Environmental Actions Through Green Liberty". Through this activity, tackling environmental issues through free-market solutions while combating climate change was stressed. The participants were able to identify engineering-based solutions for local environmental issues while showcasing an improved mindset in adopting and innovating sustainable technologies.

To every bayaw who made it through another exam week, 𝒘𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖!

Behind every result are the sleepless nights, endless reviewers, confusing computations, and a series of “ayoko na” moments that somehow turned into “kaya pa 'to.” 😭 Whether your results made you celebrate, sigh in relief, or quietly say “bawi tayo sa finals,” remember that one set of scores does not define the engineer you are becoming. Be proud of yourself for showing up, pushing through, and giving what you could.

For those celebrating, celebrate your hard work.

For those who didn’t get the results they hoped for, take a breath, learn from it, and keep going.

There are still many fields to plow, problems to solve, and challenges to overcome.

What matters is that we stay connected to our purpose, keep showing up with consistency, and continue moving forward—one step, one lesson, and one challenge at a time.

3D AutoCAD workshop for all interested ABE students this Saturday (Sept. 26, 2026) at the College of Engineering.

Who may join:
> Preferably 3rd and 4th years, or 2nd years with a background in basic AutoCAD
> Preferably those with their own laptop, with a downloaded and usable AutoCAD application
> For those who are interested in listening to the discussion and spectating the workshop, you may still come.

What to bring:
> Laptop and related paraphernalia
> Extension wire if feasible
> Tumbler
> Extra Snacks
> Other personal necessities

“Normal lang na bahain tayo kasi tag-ulan eh.”

But really?

Ilang taon na natin nararanasan ang ganitong sitwasyon? Ilang taon na tayong lumulusong sa baha, naglilipat ng gamit, nawawalan ng kabuhayan, at naghihintay na lamang na humupa ang tubig?

Tila walang pagbabago.

Iaasa na lang ba natin ito sa katatagan o RESILIENCY ng mga Pilipino?

Behind those smiles despite every circumstance, WE DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY.

Hindi sapat ang bare minimum na ayuda na ibinibigay ng gobyerno. Minsan, pati sa relief goods, kailangan pa ng kapit at koneksyon para lamang maisama sa listahan. Ganito na lang ba palagi? Ang saklap. Ang sakim.

Sana ay NATUTO na tayo.

Sana ay sapat na ang sigaw ng bawat kalamidad upang maramdaman natin ang mga pagkakamaling matagal nang inuulit.

Magalit. Makialam. Maging mapagmatyag.

Magalit tayo sa korapsyon at sa mga patuloy na kumukurakot—sapagkat isa ito sa mga sakit na patuloy na nagpapahina sa ating lipunan.

Makialam tayo sa mga isyung kinahaharap ng mga mamamayan. Huwag nating hayaang maging normal ang kapabayaan, katiwalian, at kawalan ng pananagutan.

At higit sa lahat, maging mapagmatyag tayo sa anumang oras.

Nawa’y sa mga susunod na buwan ay humupa na ang baha.

Ngunit higit sa lahat, sana’y huwag nating hayaang lumubog sa limot ang mga nangyari.

A look back at the moments shared during the ABE General Assembly, held on August 27, 2026—a day filled with introductions, meaningful conversations, laughter, and the excitement of starting another chapter together.

From familiar faces to new ones, the assembly brought the ABE community closer as we welcomed everyone into a new academic year. More than just a gathering, it was a reminder that in ABE, we grow, learn, and move forward together.

Maging mapanuri sa bawat hakbang, sapagkat ang landas ay madulas at mapanlinlang.

“Prevention is better than cure” eka nga nila. Kung titingnan ang satellite map, medyo magulo at nakakatakot ang kapal ng kaulapan na lumalamon sa bansa ngayon. Kaya para sa kaligtasan ng lahat, unahin natin ang pag-iingat at maging alerto sa bawat oras.
