HAPPY TEACHERS’ DAY!

Last October 9, 2026, the Society of Animal Science Department celebrated a special day dedicated to the people who continue to guide, teach, and inspire us. ✨

To our dear instructors, thank you for your patience, understanding, and for always sharing your knowledge with us. We truly appreciate all the effort you put into teaching, guiding us through challenges, and helping us become better students and future Animal Science professionals. As one of your students shared during the celebration, “More than the lessons we learn inside the classroom, you also teach us values that we will carry with us beyond our college years.” These words reflect our heartfelt gratitude to the teachers who continue to support us, believe in our potential, and inspire us to keep learning and growing

The BSU Poultry Farm hosted an open house for the First University Business Affairs (UBA) Festival.

As one of the university Income Generating Projects, the open house was organized to promote the locally produced eggs.

Two batches of Grade 10 and Grade 11 students from the BSU - Secondary Laboratory School explored the farm's operations, guided by their teacher Jostice Baquilan.

Project Manager Leo S. Laruan welcomed the students and provided an overview of the daily processes and management involved in poultry layer farming.//DPaydowan

SERVE! PLAY! BOND! GROW!

What a day, SASS Fam!

The SASS Team Building was a huge success, bringing our members together for a day full of fun games, friendly competition, and genuine bonding moments. What started as simple teamwork turned into laughter, connection, and memories we'll carry for the rest of the term.

To every member who joined, gave their energy, and made this day special, thank you. Moments like these are what make SASS more than just an organization, but a family.

Semestral Service: Successfully Conducted! ✅

The SASS Semester Semestral Service was successfully held on September 26, 2026, bringing together our SASS members in fulfilling our responsibilities and giving back to the Animal Science department.

From cleaning to organizing shared spaces, everyone's effort played a part in keeping our surroundings clean, orderly, and improved for all.

Thank you to every member and officer who showed up, worked hard, and helped make this activity a success!

Here's to more initiatives like this, because a united SASS is a stronger SASS.
