𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒, 𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐂𝐇 𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐇𝐀𝐘𝐀~ 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝑹𝑷𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒅!

The College of Social Sciences (CSS) is incredibly proud of our new Psychometricians from the Department of Psychology, Anthropology, and Sociology (DPAS)!

This major milestone reflects the dedication, commitment, and courage of our Bachelor of Science in Psychology pioneer batch, who took the Psychometrician Licensure Examination (PmLE) last September 1–2, 2026.

To our new RPMs, we wish you the absolute best as you serve under the banner of a helping profession. To those who didn't get the results they hoped for today, remember that your journey doesn't end here. A greater purpose is waiting for you, and we remain deeply proud of your bravery.

Congratulations to all our examinees for uplifting the Soksay community. We are all rooting for the success of your further endeavors.

Mabuhay at maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!

𝑴𝑬𝑬𝑻 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑻𝑬𝑨𝑴 𝑩𝑬𝑯𝑰𝑵𝑫 𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑺𝑪𝑬𝑵𝑬𝑺~📂💛

We are only a few months into the semester, but we have already witnessed the time and effort of our student leaders across the campus. They indeed volunteered, were elected, or decided to return for another year, but these are all a yes to another experience!

In line with this, the CSS Student Government presents its new slate of officers for the Academic Year 2026-2027. Guided by their shared advocacies, they are open to learning and co-creating a space for our Soksay community to grow.

Get to know them for you to know who to reach out to. We also encourage everyone to speak up and share their ideas, because leadership belongs to all of us. Your input truly matters.

Let’s work together to make this a memorable and impactful semester. See you at our upcoming activities! 🌻

𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐎𝐋𝐃? 𝐌𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐎𝐅 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐆𝐑𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐍𝐄! 🤞💛

Yes, you read that right! The Student Government (SG), alongside our department organizations, the Youth Psychology Fortitude Association (YPFA) and Kritikal na Kamalayan sa Kasaysayan (K*K), is committed to promoting student welfare and camaraderie.

Following our first Kapehan Session yesterday, September 19, we are reminded that leadership is never an individual responsibility, it is a collective experience. While some of us are still learning, there is always a seat at the table for everyone. Your time and effort matters.

No single organization or individual can do this alone, but together with YPFA, K*K, and the entire student body, we can build a more supportive and responsive environment for our Soksay community.

We also want to extend our warm welcome and gratitude to our continuing and new members of our organizations. Here's to more coffee and collaboration. 𝑲𝒂𝒚𝒂 𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏 ‘𝒕𝒐!

We hope for a successful and productive semester with you all! Let us keep growing together~ ✨

𝐂𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓! 💛

The College of Social Sciences - Student Government (CSS-SG) family beams with immense pride as we congratulate one of our student leaders and a Soksay graduate, 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐁. 𝐆𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐡𝐢𝐝 (BS Psychology '26), for being named as a 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 in the 59th Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines – Cordillera Administrative Region (TOSP-CAR). 🎗️ 🇵🇭

It is this very combination of academic achievements, active student leadership, and an unwavering commitment to service that has earned her this recognition. An honor to our college, a motivation to our studentry.

Thank you for carrying our banner high, and congratulations once again!

Grow Soksay! 🌻✨

𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙒𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙄𝙉𝙂: 𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎 𝙊𝙁 𝙎𝙐𝙄𝘾𝙄𝘿𝙀

𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 marks the observance of World Su***de Prevention. This month represents a unified responsibility to be open, sensitive, and supportive in creating a healthy space for people, especially those struggling for them to find hope.

Anchored in this year's theme, "Changing the Narrative on Su***de: Start the Conversation," we are reminded that our words and actions must always come from a place of compassion and understanding. Shaming, joking about, or humiliating someone who needs help does hold water— it exacerbates the situation.

In their most difficult times, let us offer kindness instead of judgment.

If you could change the narrative, how would you do it?

𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑰𝑭 𝑰 𝑪𝑨𝑳—𝑾𝑯𝑨𝑻 𝑰𝑭 𝒀𝑶𝑼 𝑹𝑬𝑽𝑰𝑬𝑾? 😌

Despite a semester filled with class suspensions, the wait is finally over. Midterm examinations are here! Kumusta ang ating pagbabasa at pagsusulat? O baka naman, mas iniisip mo na ang mag-Pasko na lang agad? 🎄

We believe that everyone is maximizing their remaining time to prepare for the laboratory and lecture examinations this week. Kayang-kaya ‘yan! Make sure to get enough rest and sleep so your memory can work its magic.

Don't let learning stop at your desks or once you receive your grades. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒘𝒂𝒚𝒔 𝒅𝒐 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓~

To our fellow History & Psychology enthusiasts, good luck to you all! ✨

𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬: 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗢𝗘𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬

This 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲, we honor every Filipino whose courage paved the way for independence, integrity, and progress. Beyond the names in our textbooks, we remember those who fought for the same cause, who served beyond their call of duty, and who still stand up for the rights of others today.

Our history was shaped by their sacrifices. Our future will be shaped by how we learn from them.

As we remember them, let us be inspired of their noble actions. May their lives and struggles be our guide in this changing world. May we live with the same courage, love, and initiative for the country. Para sa bayan. Para sa tao.

Mabuhay ang ating mga bayani! 🇵🇭
