Health Care Services (Nursing Assistant) is a course offered at the Trade Technical Education Department of King’s College of the Philippines. The course aims to provide students with the hands-on training necessary to offer high-quality health care to patients while working alongside other health care professionals in a home health care setting or in a hospital. The course includes training in ho

spitals such as Benguet General Hospital, rehabilitation clinics, and in community settings as well as courses of study and practice in skills related to patient care. Students divide their time between classroom and laboratory instruction to best equip them with the appropriate knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to become globally competitive in the Health Care Industry. A graduate of this course may practice as a:

a. Caregiver
c. Heath Care Assistant

To be qualified, the student must pass the assessment in Health Care Services NC II conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). A National Certificate in Health Care Services (Health Care Services NC II) shall be awarded to the passer.
