Nutrition Month Cooking Contest | "Lutuing I-Cordillera na Abot Kaya: Pinggang Pinoy Edition"
In celebration of the 49th Nutrition Month, a cooking competition is held at University of Baguio. The activity is organized by the National Nutrition Council CAR.
The board of judges based their decision by the nutritional value, affordability, use of indigenous ingredients or Cordilleran dish, palatability and overall presentation. The King's College of The Philippines is 1st place in the cooking contest with their winning dish Coffee Marinated Pork and Tapey Glaze.
The Cordilleran Steak by the Philippine Institute of Culinary Arts, Inc. garnered the 2nd Place, and the 3rd place is the Cordilleran Roulade by the Benguet State University. BSBT College, Inc.. with their Chicken Tinappong and the University of the Cordilleras with their Cordi Buddha Bowl are also recognized and given consolation prizes.
