BAPTC BOARD APPROVES FARMERS 50% PARKING FEE DISCOUNT
We are incredibly happy to share that the BAPTC Project Steering Board, where we sit as a member, has officially approved a 50% parking fee discount for all farmers transacting within the facility for the months of June and July.
This timely relief initiative, proposed by farmer representative Mr. Brent Pasian, received unanimous support from the entire board—including Governor Melchor Diclas, DA Regional Director Jennilyn Dawayan, BSU President Kenneth Laruan, GM Ruth Diego, and Ms. Kristine Molitas representing Congressman Eric Yap.
To ensure a smooth rollout, specific implementation guidelines are currently being finalized by the Project Management Office.
We wholeheartedly welcome this development as it perfectly aligns with our efforts at the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post (LTVTP), where our LGU has implemented the exact same 50% discount for a period of two months. By uniting the initiatives of both BAPTC and LTVTP, we are directly responding to the challenges faced by our farmers during these tough socio-economic times.
