IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

TO: All Affected Bachelor of Agricultural Technology (BAT) Alumni and Graduates

SUBJECT: Update on Requests for Special/Crash Course Subjects for Licensure Examination for Agriculturists

We would like to formally address the recent requests submitted by some BAT graduates regarding the opening of 4 core subjects required for the upcoming Licensure Examination for Agriculturists.

After a thorough review of our current faculty loading and resources, we regret to inform you that the request to offer these units as a special crash course or special subject cannot be granted at this time. This is due to the unavailability of instructors to handle these additional sessions outside of the standard academic calendar.

To ensure you meet the requirements for your board examination, we provide the following advice. Enroll it during Regular Semester. We strongly encourage you to enroll in necessary subjects during the Regular Semester when they are officially part of the curriculum/ course offerings from the BSA Program.

We understand that this may impact your timeline, and we appreciate your understanding as we maintain the quality of instruction and faculty management within the university. Please be guided accordingly!

On-the-Job Training (OJT) Narrative Report Presentations of BSHT Students

The Bachelor of Science in Home Technology (BSHT) students of Ifugao State University successfully conducted their On-the-Job Training (OJT) Narrative Report Presentations on April 8, 2026, held at the EMCD Horizon Hall.

The activity highlighted the students’ experiential learning gained from their respective training institutions, particularly highlighting their Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes developed throughout the duration of their OJT. Each presenter confidently shared their roles, responsibilities, and key learnings, demonstrating both professional growth and readiness for industry engagement.

The presentations were evaluated by a panel of BSHT faculty members, namely Dr. Josefa T. Dulinayan, OJT Coordinator; Dr. Emilia Ordillo; Ms. Leonida P. Culhi; and Ms. Geraldine Fukasan. The panel provided constructive feedback aimed at enhancing the students’ technical competence, communication skills, and professional disposition.

Despite the long and intensive schedule, all students successfully completed their presentations, which concluded at 8:30 in the evening, a testament to their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to academic excellence.
This milestone marks a significant step in the students’ academic journey, reflecting the BSHT program’s continued effort to produce competent, industry-ready graduates equipped with practical experience and strong professional values.
