We will never forget the sacrifices you make for us in every passing day, and we will always cherish the lessons you give in guiding us on our journey to success. Whether in the classroom or in the hallways, we all have shared fond moments with both of you, and we are very grateful!

𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗧 𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗨𝗥𝗘 | 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀

With the final defense just around the corner, the 24 thesis candidates are stepping into one of the most crucial moments in their last quest for Academic Year 2025-2026.

Under the guidance of Thesis Chairman Ar. Bernardo Alcantara Jr., UAP, and with the support of their respective thesis advisers, each candidate will be pushing their proposals further, refining every detail, and preparing to present with confidence.

For sure, the days ahead will be demanding. Pressure will rise, expectations will grow, and every idea will be put to the test. But this is where their hard work will start to take its final form.

This is the final stretch. A culmination of everything they have worked for. On behalf of UAPSA DWCL Chapter, we wish you all candidates the best of luck.

𝗛𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 | 𝗗𝗪𝗖𝗟 𝗶𝗻 𝗔+𝗗 𝟱.𝟬

On March 21, 2026, creative talents in architecture took the stage at the 𝗔+𝗗 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗼𝗰𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟱.𝟬 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 held at Teatro Arkitekto, 7th Floor Auditorium, UAP National Headquarters. Included in the Top 5 were first-year architecture students, representing the United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) Divine Word College of Laoag Chapter, who proudly garnered 4th Place.

The event was held as part of the 2025 Jubilee Year of the Catholic Church, carrying the theme “𝙐𝙜𝙣𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙣 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙜𝙖 𝙎𝙞𝙢𝙗𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙅𝙪𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙝𝙪𝙗𝙤𝙜 𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤.” Alpas Creatives produced successfully the documentary film “𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗮: 𝗣𝘂𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗶 𝗥𝗮𝗴𝘀𝗮𝗸 𝗠𝗶”, with the support and guidance of Ar. Godfrey C. Ramiro, UAP. Their entry gave prominence to the La Virgen Milagrosa de Badoc Chapel and the Minor Basilica and Parish of St. John the Baptist.

Finishing 4th place out of 23 shortlisted entries is already an outstanding milestone. A strong proof that these filmmakers have a bright path ahead. Indeed the Pride of the North. Congratulations!

Alpas Creatives has proudly secured a spot as one of the Top 5 Finalists in the A+D Architectural Documentary Film Festival 5.0!
Their powerful entry beautifully features the Minor Basilica and Parish of St. John the Baptist and the La Virgen Milagrosa de Badoc Chapel.

To the filmmakers behind this outstanding piece, a huge congratulations on reaching this far. We are all rooting for your victory until the very end.

𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | Three candidates from the Architecture Department proudly represented the SEAIT Mighty Blue Minotaurs in the recently concluded Mr. and Ms. DWCL 2026, held last night.

Ric Charls Eleria and Mc Kenna Delos Santos were both named Second Runners-Up, while Celine Burgos earned the title of Fourth Runner-Up.

This milestone is only the beginning, with more events and opportunities ahead. Congratulations!
