𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻 & 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗲𝘀' 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀' 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

As part of the Freshmen and Transferees Orientation Program for Academic Year 2026–2027, DCCP-Laoag also conducted a Parents' Orientation to strengthen the partnership between the institution and the families of its newest students.

Parents were oriented on essential school policies and student support services. Ms. Cherry Joy Miguel-Tadeo, College Registrar, discussed enrollment policies, adding and dropping of subjects, and unofficial dropping. Ms. Dyryl De Jesus (morning session) and Mr. Dante Develos (afternoon session) introduced the Guidance Office's services and emphasized its role in supporting students throughout their academic journey. Mr. Danilo T. Dumlao, Acting Administrator and Head of Student Affairs, presented the academic calendar, student services, scholarship opportunities, and AXA student insurance.

The morning session was hosted by Ms. Paula Molave, while the afternoon session was facilitated by Dr. Madelyn Estrada-Rabina, serving as the program masters who guided the flow of the orientation.

Through this meaningful gathering, DCCP-Laoag reaffirmed its commitment to keeping parents informed and involved as partners in their children's success.

LOOK | DAY 2: Freshmen and Transferees Orientation for AY 2026–2027

The Data Center College of the Philippines – Laoag Campus successfully conducted the second day of its Freshmen and Transferees Orientation Program, welcoming another batch of incoming students as they begin their college journey.

The orientation was held in two sessions: 🌅 Morning Session – Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) 🌇 Afternoon Session – Bachelor of Science in Criminology (BS Crim)

Students were introduced to essential academic policies, enrollment procedures, scholarships, the Academic Year Calendar, student services, and the AXA Student Insurance Program through discussions led by Ms. Cherry Joy Miguel-Tadeo, Ms. Dyryl De Jesus (Morning Session), Sir Dante Develos (Afternoon Session), and Mr. Danilo T. Dumlao.

Adding excitement to the event, selected students showcased their talents, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere while fostering camaraderie among their fellow freshmen.

As Day 2 concludes, DCCP-Laoag proudly welcomes its newest BSHM and BS Criminology students. May this be the beginning of a meaningful college journey filled with learning, growth, and success.

🌇 Batch 2 (Afternoon Session) Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and Health Care Services (HCS)

Data Center College of the Philippines successfully conducted the Freshmen and Transferees Orientation 2026, warmly welcoming our newest students as they begin their academic journey at DCCP.

The orientation provided students with valuable information to help them transition smoothly into college life. Ms. Dyryl De Jesus of the Guidance Office discussed the institution's student services, policies, and guidance programs. Ms. Cherry Joy Tadeo from the Registrar's Office explained important academic procedures, including enrollment concerns, adding and dropping of subjects, and the policies on officially and unofficially dropped students. Meanwhile, Sir Danilo T. Dumlao presented the Academic Year Calendar, upcoming institutional activities, scholarship opportunities, and the benefits of the AXA Student Insurance Program.

To make the orientation more engaging, selected freshmen confidently showcased their talents, creating a lively atmosphere while fostering camaraderie and school spirit among their fellow students.
