The MMSU Biology Graduate Students Society was established for the following expressed purposes:

a) to promote awareness among members’ potential to serve the university and the society;
b) to work academic and co-curricular opportunities for its members;
c) to develop and make use of members’ potentials to the fullest;
d) to promote academic, social and moral development among its members;
e) to

encourage its members to participate in civic-oriented activities; and
f) to serve the needs and problems of its members in matters concerning their subjects.
