Day 2 of GCTERI 2026 was marked by a full day of meaningful academic engagement, beginning with a dynamic panel discussion in the morning and followed by a series of insightful breakout sessions in the afternoon.

The morning panel brought together thought leaders in education, including Dr. Doreen D. Domingo, MMSU Graduate School dean, who served as one of the distinguished panelists. Her perspectives contributed to a rich exchange of ideas that set the direction for the day’s discussions.

In the afternoon, participants moved into breakout sessions that explored key themes such as inclusive education, graduate and international learning, and research methodologies. These sessions encouraged dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of best practices among educators and researchers.

Altogether, the day captured the spirit of GCTERI, advancing knowledge, strengthening connections, and promoting innovation in education on a global scale.

Mariano Marcos State University proudly hosts the 3rd Global Conference on Teacher Education, Research, and Innovation (GCTERI), happening online from April 28 to 30, 2026, bringing together educators, researchers, students, administrators, and international partners from various institutions.

Anchored on the theme, “Convergence for Excellence: Integrating Teacher Education, Research, and Global Engagement,” the conference serves as a dynamic platform for sharing innovations, research findings, and best practices, while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and strengthening global academic partnerships.

A key highlight of this year’s conference is the strong and active involvement of the MMSU Graduate School faculty and students, who play significant roles as panelists, presenters, moderators, and participants. Their engagement underscores the Graduate School’s commitment to advancing research excellence, promoting scholarly exchange, and contributing meaningfully to global conversations in teacher education and innovation.

Through this collective participation, MMSU Graduate School continues to uphold its vision of producing highly competent scholars and educators who are responsive, research-driven, and globally engaged.

CHED SIKAP Grant Orientation and Call for Applications (Batch 6):

The MMSU Graduate School is pleased to announce that MMSU has been officially approved as a Delivering Higher Education Institution (DHEI) under the 2025 Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) Grant of the CHED. This approval provides a valuable opportunity for full-time personnel of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) to pursue advanced degrees with financial assistance while remaining in active service.

In line with this, CHED Regional Office I is now accepting applications for SIKAP Grant – Batch 6, and a virtual orientation will be conducted to guide all interested applicants on the program details, including eligibility, requirements, and application procedures.
