๐ SANGGIR 2026 FACULTY ONBOARDING | SERIES ONE
On June 26, 2026, the Divine Word College of Laoag (DWCL) Academic Affairs Office successfully launched Sanggir 2026 Faculty Onboarding โ Series One at the Learning Resource Center, bringing together new and returning faculty members, academic heads, and administrators in a meaningful gathering centered on the theme, โDivinians: Ethical Witnessing and Professional Integrity in the Catholic Workplace.โ
The highlight of the event was the inspiring keynote address of Rev. Fr. Edsel R. Demillo, SVD, PhDEM, PhDMgnt, College President, who shared his thought-provoking message, โEveryday Ethics: Little Choices, Massive Impacts,โ reminding every educator that integrity is reflected in the daily choices we make.
The keynote speaker was graciously introduced by Mrs. Jurolyn M. Garcia, OIC-HRD, while the open forum was skillfully facilitated by Ms. Leilanie Jane T. Mateo, OIC-NSTP Coordinator, allowing participants to engage in meaningful discussions on ethical leadership and professional responsibility.
A significant moment of the program was the Pledge of Commitment to Ethics and Professional Integrity, where the entire Academic Affairs community affirmed their dedication to upholding the values and mission of Catholic education. The program also formally welcomed the newest members of the academic community, who were presented by their respective deans: Dr. Melody Luz M. Sapinoso, Dean of the School of Nursing, and Dr. Marlene T. Nicolas, Dean of the School of Arts, Sciences, and Education.
Sanggir 2026 Faculty Onboarding โ Series One concluded with a closing prayer, leaving participants inspired and united in their shared commitment to ethical excellence and transformative education.
