Look: Double Gold Victory Shines at the 2026 Ilocos Norte Provincial Skills Olympics 🏅
The 2026 Ilocos Norte Provincial Skills Olympics, held from March 17–19 at SM City Laoag, celebrated the talents and excellence of young competitors across various skill areas, highlighted by an inspiring display of culinary mastery.
Representing the organization with pride, Jerick P. Ancheta (CUL 1C), together with assistant Cate Allyssa S. Ramos, secured a Gold Medal in the Bakery event held at Divine Word College of Laoag under the guidance of expert Mr. Christian Jay P. Pungtilan. Their performance showcased creativity, precision, and technical excellence in baking.
In the Cooking event at Northwestern University, Cherie Joy R. Layaoen (FPSM 3B), assisted by Christian Dave U. Bagaoisan, also claimed a Gold Medal under the mentorship of Dr. Jon-Jon P. Graniada. Their winning entry demonstrated outstanding culinary skills, teamwork, and innovation.
These remarkable achievements were made possible through the strong support of the College’s OIC-Dean, TESDA office, various organizations and interest clubs, and the dedicated FPSM/CulTech faculty members.
The double gold victory stands as a testament to the competitors’ hard work, passion, and commitment to excellence bringing pride and honor to the institution at this year’s Provincial Skills Olympics.
