LNTS-UEPLLHS Alumni Association Spearheads Career Talk for Completing, Graduating Students
The Laoang National Trade School-University of Eastern Philippines Laoang Laboratory High School (LNTS-UEPLLHS) Alumni Association led the Career Talk 2025 on October 3, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at the UEPL Cafeteria. The activity was intended for Grade 10 and Grade 12 students, aiming to provide guidance as they prepare for higher education and future careers.
Distinguished alumni resource speakers shared their professional journeys and insights. Atty. Erwin Drio discussed the legal profession; Ms. Sharlynne Pearl Ross Anthonette M. Villardo, RPh, presented opportunities in Pharmacy; Inst. Allan J. Valila highlighted Education; Ms. Shairra Giray shared about Accountancy; Mrs. Pinky Detera, RN, MAN, talked about the field of Nursing; and Mr. Morrison S. Tenedero who tackled about Redirection, which he ended with the reminder, "Life doesn't always go the way we want."
After the sessions, Dr. Kim Joshua C. Lagrimas, OIC Principal, expressed his gratitude to the alumni and speakers, Alumni Association President Ben Mark Fabro, faculty, and students in his closing remarks.
The activity not only served as a career orientation but also as a reunion between the alumni and their alma mater. By sharing their stories and lessons, the speakers motivated students to pursue their aspirations with confidence, perseverance, and a strong sense of purpose.
