Lapulapu-Cebu International College proudly celebrated Buwan ng Wika during todayโ€™s flag ceremony, bringing together our administrators, faculty, staff, and students in a meaningful celebration of Filipino language, culture, and identity.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of our President, Dr. Ethel Agnes P. Valenzuela, together with our Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Renante C. Payod, and Vice President for Administration, Dr. Sharon S. Monsale, alongside our dedicated faculty and staff.

Adding color and energy to the celebration, our faculty and staff proudly wore Filipiniana and Barong, while the LCIC Dance Troupe delivered a vibrant cultural dance presentation that highlighted the beauty and richness of Filipino heritage.

More than a celebration, Buwan ng Wika reminds us of the importance of preserving our language, embracing our culture, and building a community that values both our Filipino roots and our global aspirations.

As the new academic year begins, the different academic programs of Lapulapu-Cebu International College (LCIC) welcomed their students through a series of departmental orientations designed to build connection, set expectations, and inspire students for the journey ahead.

The Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy (BSPT), Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM), Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE), Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Language (BAFL), and Bachelor of Arts in English Language Studies (BAELS) communities came together with their respective Department Chairs and faculty members to welcome students and provide essential guidance for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

The orientations provided opportunities for students to become more familiar with their respective programs, academic policies, expectations, faculty members, student organizations, and opportunities for engagement beyond the classroom. More importantly, these gatherings emphasized the value of community, collaboration, discipline, and a shared commitment to excellence.

From preparing future healthcare professionals and engineers, to developing globally minded tourism practitioners and language professionals, each LCIC academic community plays an important role in our commitment to providing meaningful and future ready education.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho) is now accepting applications for the 1st Semester of Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

Lapulapu-Cebu International College (LCIC) is accepting qualified CoScho scholars who wish to pursue eligible programs at the College.

The program is intended for coconut farmers and/or their dependents duly registered in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) who are incoming first-year or continuing college students enrolled in Agriculture and related programs in eligible higher education institutions recognized by CHED or with the appropriate institutional recognition.
