In view of the recent fire incident in the residential area near the campus, the University would like to assure everyone that the school was not directly affected by the incident.

Nevertheless, as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for our students, faculty, and personnel, there will be no classes 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄, 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟭 for both 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆, to allow sufficient time for a thorough inspection of the campus electrical systems and building facilities, particularly those located near the affected area.

This is a preventive and precautionary measure to ensure that all electrical systems and facilities are functioning properly and remain safe for occupancy and regular operations.

In observance of the 457th Cebu Province Charter Day on August 6, 2026, pursuant to Republic Act No. 7698, the day is declared a special non-working holiday in the Province of Cebu. The annual observance commemorates the founding of the province and honors its rich history, culture, and legacy. It also serves as an opportunity to recognize Cebu’s enduring contributions to the nation’s growth and development.

In line with this observance, all classes and office operations at Indiana Aerospace University will be suspended. Regular operations will resume on the next working day.
