Amid gloomy skies, Indiana Aerospace University welcomed the pilgrim image of Nuestra Seรฑora de Regla at the St. Therese of Lisieux Chaplaincy on September 21โ€“22, 2026, once again bringing guidance and protection to the Aerospacers.

As the Arrival Mass commenced at 4:00 PM on September 21, presided over by Rev. Fr. Jerome Mesina, OSA. Students, faculty, staff, and members of the IAU community gathered in prayer to welcome Our Lady of the Rule. It was an opportunity for the community to reflect on faith, hope, compassion, and love while carrying these values through acts of kindness and service.

Despite the heavy downpour, the community came together in thanksgiving, presided over by Rev. Fr. Benito B. Tumol, MSC, as the send-off mass commenced at 3:00 PM on September 22 for the departure of the sacred image from the campus.

Furthermore, the celebration concluded with a reverent procession for the departure of the holy image, joined by IAU advance ROTC cadets, officers, and the IAU community. Nuestra Seรฑora de Reglaโ€™s presence became a meaningful expression, inspiring the whole IAU community to live in faith and love.

Viva, Birhen sa Regla!

Have you ever felt discouraged because you feel like you're being left behind in life?

From the moment we are brought into this world, one thing remains constantโ€”our individuality. Each one of us differs from another, including our paths in life. These paths can be full of uncertainties, highs, and lows; however, it's this very unpredictability that makes life worth living. Knowing nothing of what lies ahead, yet still choosing to move toward your ambitions, is what true courage looks like.

Remember this, Aerospacers! There is nothing to gain from comparing your journey to someone else's, as it only takes the color out of your own. Strive to become better than who you once were. Keep your chin up, and focus on what lies beyond your path.

Before every flight begins, there are careful hands, meticulously checking, preparing and maintaining what makes flight possible. In Ormoc, Aircraft mechanics and aviators under the guidance of experienced professionals bring their training beyond the classroom and into the field. Putting knowledge to work through aircraft inspections and steady preparations, they ensure that every component is ready to take to the skies.

Amid the quiet rhythm of the ramp, every check and tasks becomes part of their journey in aviation. More than preparing an aircraft for flight, they are preparing themselves for the responsibilities beyond the horizon.
