𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 | 𝑨𝒊𝒓𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝑻𝒆𝒂𝒎-𝑩𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Under the warmth of the summer breeze, Airwatch celebrated its three-day team-building getaway at Zaruchi Villa in Argao, Cebu, from April 20 to 22, 2026. The team was divided into two groups—Red and Blue, and engaged into a series of exciting activities throughout the stay that celebrated camaraderie and fellowship.

On top of the activities, a reflective session led by IAU Student Affairs Director Ms. Maria Luz G. Cahayagan helped participants stay grounded and remain true to their purpose. The session also enabled participants to understand one another more deeply and further strengthen their bonds.

As the event came to a close, Airwatch held a Banquet Night marking the success of the team-building while also celebrating Airwatch’s 33rd anniversary. Outgoing members were honored with touching speeches, tokens of appreciation, and warm tributes that filled the venue with emotions and gratitude. Although the celebration came to an end, the participants left with a renewed sense of unity, that Airwatch is more than just a media bureau; it is a family.

Under the early light that casts a quiet brilliance, IAU’s 33rd Commencement Exercises and Graduation Ceremony unfolded, gathering graduands of Batch Lumari alongside their families, mentors, and the academic community in a moment that marked both culmination and takeoff. The ceremony opened with a dignified Entrance of Colors, followed by the formal procession of IAU Administrators, faculty and staff together with the Class of 2026 as each step echoing years of perseverance into a single defining moment.

One of the most resonant moments of the ceremony came through the words of the esteemed guest of honor and Commencement speaker, Gov. Pamela S. Baricuatro, Governor of the Province of Cebu. Drawing from her own journey, she spoke of discipline shaped by challenges and the humility to serve others. She reminded graduates that growth is often forged in unseen moments, urging them to remain grounded in service and steadfast in the face of uncertainty. “𝘐𝘯 𝘨𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘦𝘴, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺—𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦, 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦,” she shared, leaving a call for graduates to lead with both competence and heart.

Marking the formal transition from aspirants to professionals, the program proceeded with the Capping Ceremony, a defining rite of passage for the Class of 2026. The Petition for Capping was delivered by Ms. Kim D. Klippert, Summa Cum Laude, and duly accepted by Dr. Jovenal Toring, IAU President and Founder. One by one, graduands and associate degree holders were presented and recognized by their respective instructors. In that moment, Batch LUMARI, true to its name, stood as a collective light, illuminating not only their own journeys but the hopes of those who stood behind them. Eyes welled and smiles were exchanged as proud families witnessed years of sacrifice turn into milestones.

Anchoring the graduates to their roots, a Pledge of Loyalty was led by Hon. Nestor G. Paypa, Alumnus Regent, reaffirming the values instilled within them as Aerospacers. As the ceremony drew to a close, voices rose in unison for the final singing of the IAU Hymn, no longer as students, but as graduates.

They are ready to shine through uncertainty, to guide with purpose and illuminate the paths that lie ahead. Congratulations, Batch 𝙇𝙐𝙈𝘼𝙍𝙄!

Opening doors to the final stage of college life, Summa Cum Laude and Class of 2026 Valedictorian, Alleen Jhane S. Doydora, a Bachelor of Science in Airline Management of Batch Lumari.
She brings recognition to the pressures of perfection while expressing the daily uncertainties that her Aerospacers face.

Viewing this as a beginning to real responsibility, she believed that this journey is not a means to an end, but a march towards a newer chapter. Despite falling under a state of uncertainty as surrounding pressures from university and everyday life mount, each student's unseen sacrifice sheds light on a deeper narrative, proving how the real answer was always found within.

An elegant evening filled with pride and truimph unfolded at NUSTAR Grand Ballroom as Indiana Aerospace University proudly celebrated the Batch LUMARI Ring Hop Ceremony on April 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Surrounded by faculty and families, the event honored a cherished tradition symbolizing the graduands’ transition into a new chapter.

Reflecting on the hardships and the strong bonds formed throughout their journey, Ms. Angeline E. Quiliope, Batch Lumari Ambassador, delivered an insightful opening remark. This was followed by an inspirational message from the IAU President and Founder, Dr. Jovenal B. Toring, who expressed heartfelt praise for Batch LUMARI’s remarkable milestone. In his speech, he also reflected on the challenges the institution had overcome on its path to success.

As the evening's highlight, the solemn Ring Hop ceremony featured a commemorative video showcasing each department’s graduands' journey. This was followed by the symbolic donning of the rings, marking a meaningful milestone for the graduands.

Acknowledging academic milestones and its odyssey, the Basic Education Department celebrated its Completion and Commencement Ceremonies at the IAU Sports Arena last April 15, 2026, where students from Kinder, Grades 2, 6, 10 and 12 embarked on their own new journeys toward academic success. The ceremony, held under the theme "𝘍𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴: 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘳", recognized Batch divergente and their achievements in the past year.

Private School District Supervisor for District 6, Mrs. Czarina Ritzko Sagarino, accepted the graduands and confirmed the batch’s completers. With an inspirational speech from the Department of Education Program Supervisor in GMRC, Dr. Norman O. Ongco, that left students enthralled in his "𝘏𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘬 𝘔𝘰 𝘈𝘯𝘨 𝘉.𝘌.𝘈.𝘛." message, about commending one's dedication and making one's dream come to fruition.

In a heartfelt farewell to the batch, Indiana Aerospace University welcomes the graduating class and celebrates the path ahead that awaits the remarkable and soaring Aerospacers.
