As the Summer Term enters its final stretch, the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 25–26 marks the culmination of weeks spent choosing lectures and deadlines over days off and summer plans. Proof that you’ve already come farther than you think. 🫵😎

A childhood memory. A celebration. A milestone. A moment we wished would last a little longer.

And somehow, across so many of those moments, the same person keeps showing up.

Sometimes in the photo. Sometimes behind the camera. Sometimes making the moment possible in the first place.

Today, we celebrate the fathers and fatherly figures whose presence has quietly shaped so many of our stories.

𝑺𝒂 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒍𝒖𝒍𝒖𝒑𝒊𝒈, ’𝒅𝒊 𝒌𝒂 𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒊𝒍✊🇵🇭

More than a line in our national anthem, it is a reminder of who we are and who we should continue to be.

Today, we celebrate the freedom won by generations of Filipinos who chose courage over comfort and country over self. But Independence Day is not only about looking back on their sacrifices. It is also about looking at ourselves—for the future of our nation rests not only in the hands of those who came before us, but in the choices we make today.

To love the Philippines is to care enough to act. To be accountable, to stand for what is right, and to contribute, however we can, to the betterment of our communities. For patriotism is not confined to history books or national celebrations. It is found in the everyday decisions that shape the country we leave for the generations to come.

As we honor those who fought for our freedom, may we also remember our responsibility to protect, nurture, and stand for the nation they once stood for.

𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙗𝙮 𝙗𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙, 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙪𝙨 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚.

On June 6, 2026, the IAU Supreme Student Council returned to House of Dreams for another meaningful visit. What started as a simple outreach initiative gradually became something much more special. Over time, the children who were once strangers became family.

The council facilitated educational and creative activities such as Piggy Bank Making using recycled water bottles and Bottle Cap Chain Making using recycled bottle caps. Through these, the children were able to express their creativity while learning the importance of recycling and environmental sustainability. The day was also filled with games, shared meals, and laughter that brought warmth to every corner of the home.

Beyond the activities, another story worth writing came from the reflections shared between the children and the councilors. The children spoke about the lessons they learned and the memories they would cherish long after the outreach. Many shared how much they would miss the monthly visits—what was once an ordinary day had become something they genuinely looked forward to every month.

In return, the councilors expressed their gratitude for being welcomed into the children’s lives. They shared how much they had learned from them and offered words of encouragement, hoping each child would continue to dream big, work hard, and strive for a bright future ahead.

As the day came to a close, a bittersweet feeling lingered in the air. 𝙔𝙚𝙩 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡 𝙨𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙨𝙖𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙚𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙗𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙩. It reminds us that we cared deeply, showed up wholeheartedly, and loved intentionally.

Though time may pass, the memories, lessons, and bonds formed will remain. After all, some people enter our lives for only a season, yet leave footprints that last a lifetime. And if there is one thing this journey has taught us, it is that 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙—𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙, 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚, at 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬.❤️

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 | 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦𝐬 🌈✨

On May 16, 2026, the Supreme Student Council of Indiana Aerospace University (IAU-SSC) visited the House of Dreams for another meaningful and joy-filled community extension activity

The day began with the making of graham balls, where the children were introduced to simple technical skills and creative hobbies they could enjoy during their free time. Yet beyond the lessons shared, the activity became a moment of connection with laughter exchanged, stories told, and memories created through the hands that worked together.

The children also participated in games that filled the space with genuine smiles, excitement, and teamwork. Additionally, Aircraft Marshalling was introduced to them, allowing the children to experience basic aviation-related skills while building confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning Through these activities, the children were reminded that even the skies are not too far for those who dare to dream

The day concluded with a shared meal and moments that will forever remain in the hearts of everyone present.

Through initiatives like this, Indiana Aerospace University and the IAU-SSC continue to show their commitment to serving the community and inspiring children to dream big and believe that they, too, can 𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙘𝙚𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨. 🌅🚀
