Last April 22, our CITE family got a taste of the real world of media and storytelling as they joined the ABS-CBN Campus Patrol at Luxembourg Hall.

From stepping up to the Reporter’s Challenge to snapping moments with ABS-CBN reporters and personalities, our CITE family didn’t just watch—they participated, explored, and experienced what it’s like to be in front of (and behind) the story.

There was energy in the room, curiosity in every corner, and plenty of smiles to go around. More than anything, it was a day of discovery—seeing possibilities, building confidence, and simply enjoying the moment together.

Safe to say, it wasn’t just a good event—it was one to remember.

We are Cutting Edge. We are CITE.

Last February 7, our Computer Engineering students stepped out of their comfort zones and into the spotlight at the ICpEP Student CpE Challenge 2026, hosted by Asia Pacific College at Makati City.

They took on the Quiz Bowl, breadboarding, and programming competitions with determination, grit, and the kind of courage that doesn’t always show on a scoreboard.

No podium finish this time—and that’s okay. Because what they brought home is something far more valuable: experience, perspective, and the drive to come back stronger. Every circuit built, every line of code written, every question answered under pressure—those moments matter. Those moments build engineers.

And to our students: we see you, and we are proud of you. You represented CITE with integrity, effort, and heart.

This is only the beginning.

We are Cutting Edge. We are CITE.

A proud moment for the CITE family! 🎉

We extend our warmest congratulations to Engr. Peter James Agada, one of our very own faculty members, for being one of the distinguished speakers at the Luzon Regional Conference MESCON 2026 held at the Claro M. Recto Event Place, Lipa City, Batangas last March 19, 2026.

Standing before more than 400 aspiring mechanical engineers from 20 universities talking about, Engr. Agada didn’t just deliver a talk—he sparked inspiration. His session on “The Global Linkage: Designing Your Career for Interoperability” challenged future engineers to think beyond borders, embrace innovation, and prepare for a globally connected profession.

Moments like this remind us what CITE is all about—empowering educators who shape minds, ignite passion, and lead the next generation toward limitless possibilities.

Your CITE family celebrates this milestone with you, Engr. Agada. The impact you make goes far beyond the stage. 👏

We are Cutting Edge. We are CITE.

To our CITE family 💙

Our 1st year students just wrapped up two meaningful days at the Comprehensive Growth Series 2026 for IC2, held at The Farm at Dasmariñas last April 21–22—and what an experience it was.

More than just an annual activity, CGS gave our students the space to pause, reflect, and really get to know themselves and each other. Through shared stories, laughter, and a few unforgettable moments, they didn’t just learn—they connected.

Huge thanks to our Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS), led by Ms. Belen Mandin, for creating a safe and meaningful environment where growth happens naturally and friendships begin to take shape.

If you’ve ever wondered what “CITE experience” feels like, this is a big part of it.

📸 Take a look at some of the moments we captured in the link below.

🔥 CITE Advisory | Stay Cool, Stay Safe, Monarchs! 🌞

Grabe ang init these past few days and yes, we feel it too. Because of the high heat index reaching extreme caution levels, we’re making a few adjustments to help everyone stay comfortable while still keeping things in order.

Starting April 21 until April 30, 2026, you may wear your Type B/Org/College Shirt or a collared shirt in your program color. If you still prefer your uniform, that’s perfectly fine as blazers are not required during this period.

A quick reminder:
✅ School ID is still a must
✅ NSTP and PE classes will continue with their required uniforms

And more importantly, take care of yourselves:
💧 Drink water (even before you feel thirsty)
🌤️ Avoid staying too long under the sun
☂️ Bring an umbrella or wear sunscreen when heading outdoors

Let’s look out for one another. A quick “okay ka lang?” goes a long way, especially in this kind of weather.

Stay safe, stay hydrated, and keep that CITE spirit strong. 💙

Why take BS Industrial Engineering at Southville?

Sometimes, the best way to understand a program is to hear it from someone who lives and breathes it every day. Engr. Peter James Agada shares his insights—what makes Industrial Engineering meaningful, how it shapes problem-solvers, and why Southville is a place where future engineers are truly built, not just taught.

If you’ve ever been curious about how systems work, how efficiency is improved, or how ideas turn into real-world impact, this is worth your time.

Take a moment, read through the article, and see where this path could lead you. Your journey in engineering might just start here.

🇵🇭 Araw ng Kagitingan | April 9, 2026

Today, we pause—not just to remember history, but to feel it.

We remember the courage of Filipino heroes who stood their ground in the face of overwhelming odds. Their bravery was not just seen in battle, but in their unwavering love for our country, even in the quiet moments of sacrifice.

Our CITE Family carries that same spirit forward.

Valor today may no longer be fought on the battlefield—but it lives on in every student who dares to dream, every innovator who chooses integrity, and every Filipino who uses knowledge and technology to serve the nation.

As future IT professionals, engineers, and leaders, may we embody a modern form of heroism:
✨ Courage to innovate
✨ Strength to persevere
✨ Commitment to make a difference

This Day of Valor, we honor the past by shaping the future.

Mabuhay ang kagitingan ng bawat Pilipino. 🇵🇭

We are Cutting Edge. We are CITE.

🌅 Easter is a gentle reminder that even after the darkest moments, light finds its way back.

There are seasons in life when things feel uncertain—when we wait, we struggle, or we question what lies ahead. Yet Easter speaks to us in a quiet but powerful way: that hope is never wasted, that renewal is always possible, and that new life can emerge even when we least expect it.

As a community of learners, educators, and leaders, the CITE Family is called not only to grow in knowledge, but also in faith, compassion, and purpose.

Easter challenges us to rise—
to rise above fear,
to rise with courage,
and to rise together, lifting others along the way.

May this season inspire us to embrace new beginnings, to extend kindness more freely, and to believe more deeply in the good that we can create—both within ourselves and in the world around us.

✨ Let us continue to move forward with hope in our hearts and purpose in our steps.

✨ Let us be instruments of light, renewal, and transformation.

From all of us at CITE, we wish you a meaningful, peaceful, and truly blessed Easter. 🕊️🌿

A Lenten Reflection from your CITE Family

Lent invites us to pause.

In the middle of deadlines, responsibilities, and the constant noise of our daily lives, we are gently called to slow down—to reflect, to listen, and to return to what truly matters.

This season is not about perfection. It is about realignment.
It is about recognizing our struggles, our limitations, and even our quiet victories—and offering them with humility.

As a community of learners, innovators, and future builders, may we also remember that growth is not only measured by what we achieve, but by how we choose to live—with compassion, integrity, and purpose.

Let this Lenten season be a time to:
- seek silence in a world full of distractions,
- extend kindness where it is least expected,
- and rediscover faith in the small, meaningful moments of our lives.

May we carry not only our ambitions, but also a deeper sense of responsibility—to serve, to uplift, and to lead with heart.

From our CITE family to yours, may this season renew your spirit and strengthen your journey.
