HUMBLE ACHIEVEMENTS

The College of Information and Computing Sciences (CICS) won various categories in the 2nd Cacao Festival of CSU Lasam.
‎
‎CICS displayed remarkable talent and flexibility in the 2nd Cacao Festival and gained several victories in the major and minor events during the celebration.
‎
‎First among these successes is CICS' victory in Infomercial, which won them the champion spot in the competition. Another win was their BSIT 1 film, "Sa Panaginip Lang," as the 1st runner-up and received several minor awards: Best Cinematography, Best Editing, and Best Animation, where Zaleighlle Bulusan was also recognized as Best Actor for the film. Meanwhile, "Echoes of Regret" by BSIT 2 was awarded 3rd runner-up in films.

‎In the performing arts category, CICS took 1st Runner-Up for Indigenous Dance and lastly 3rd for Bayle sa Kalye and emerged as Champion in the Progressive Dance Category.
‎
‎Overall, CICS demonstrated a balanced display of creativity and skills through their participation in various events in the 2nd Cacao Festival.

We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our student participants in the Cacao Festival. Your dedication, hard work, and the sacrifices you made, whether big or small, did not go unnoticed. From long hours of preparation to giving your best during the event, you have truly shown commitment and passion.

Remember, winning is not the only measure of success. What truly matters is the effort, teamwork, and perseverance you demonstrated throughout the journey. All your sacrifices are meaningful, and they have already made you achievers in your own right.

We also sincerely thank those who worked behind the scenes, the talented individuals who crafted the beautiful costumes and the creative teams who poured their time and effort into producing the short films. Your contributions played an important role in making everything come together.
