Behind every successful event, every student concern heard, and every service rendered was a student leader who was also quietly fighting their own battles just to reach graduation day.

To the graduates of the CIT Student Council, thank you for leading with heart while carrying the weight of your own dreams. You served others even when life was demanding so much from you.

Congratulations, future professionals and forever leaders. The council may be one chapter ending, but your impact will always remain. πŸŽ“βœ¨

CSUans, the proposal of Student Regent Kyle Aron T. Tan for the construction of a Student Conference Room at CSU Lasam Campus has been formally approved as a joint initiative among key university stakeholders.

This initiative was borne out of the Student Regent’s campus visit, where a critical concern surfaced, the absence of a dedicated and conducive space for student-led activities, meetings, seminars, and organizational engagements. Recognizing this pressing need, CSU Lasam Student Council President Jomar Godoy formally elevated the request, underscoring the urgency of establishing a functional, student-centered facility.

The approved project reflects a strong and unified collaboration between the student body and the university administration. It includes a β‚±500,000 commitment from the University Student Council Federation (USCF) under the leadership of Student Regent Kyle Aron T. Tan, β‚±400,000 from the CSU Lasam Campus Administration through Campus Executive Officer Dr. Florante Victor Balatico, and additional funding support from the Central Administration through the leadership of OIC University President Prof. Dr. Arthur G. IbaΓ±ez.

We extend our sincere gratitude to OIC President, Prof. Dr. Arthur G. IbaΓ±ez, and CEO Dr. Florante Victor Balatico for their invaluable support and additional funding of our USCF project proposal.

This milestone marks a significant step forward in strengthening student governance, fostering collaboration, and enhancing campus facilities for CSUans. The construction of the Student Conference Room will serve as a lasting investment, providing a space where ideas are cultivated, leaders are empowered, and student voices are amplified.

Para sa Estudyante, Para sa CSUans.

CSUans, In a landmark move for student rights, it has been officially noted by the Board of Regents and is now established as a standing policy of the student body that the enforcement of the USG Bicameral Resolution is strictly institutionalized across all campuses.

This resolution, which was originally introduced within the University Student Government by Student Regent Julius Catulin and subsequently elevated to the Board by Student Regent Kyle Aron Tan, mandates that no campus student council, college council, nor classroom organization shall impose monetary fines or material sanctions on students simply because they did not attend organizational activities.

It is now a university-wide directive that participation, or the lack thereof, in such activities should never bar a student from getting their clearances signed. The era of "fines" and "in-kind" contributions as a prerequisite for academic processing is over.

To ensure this policy is not ignored, a rigorous disciplinary framework is now in effect for any council or classroom officer who continues to implement these unauthorized penalties.

For the first offense, responsible officers will receive a formal warning.

A second offense will result in the immediate seizure of the organization’s accreditation and the suspension of its normal processes.

If a third offense occurs, the case will be elevated to the Student Judicial Chamber, which is empowered to remove all officers from their positions if found guilty of misconduct.

This standing policy serves as a firm commitment to protecting every CSUan from unauthorized financial burdens and ensuring that student leadership remains an avenue for service, not imposition.

This decisive move came after numerous reports were reached by the Office of the Student Regent regarding persistent cases of unauthorized monetary and material collections being imposed on students.

The Office of the CSU Student Regent remains committed to advocating policies and programs that safeguard student welfare and strengthen institutional support systems for the entire CSU community.
