IN PHOTOS | CSU–Lasam employees received their Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) cards, through the Human Resource Management Office (HRMO), as part of the university’s continuing efforts to strengthen employee welfare and provide access to healthcare services.

The university’s HMO provider, IMS-ANEC, serves as its healthcare partner, providing CSU employees with access to HMO services and benefits as part of the university’s employee welfare program.

WALANG PASOK | Classes in state universities and colleges will be suspended starting 1 p.m. on Monday, September 28, 2026, as Malacañang orders the suspension of government work to allow employees and their families to observe the 34th National Family Week, according to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 136.

The suspension covers all agencies and instrumentalities of the National Government, including government-owned and -controlled corporations and state universities and colleges, the circular issued on Sept. 16 stated.

Agencies responsible for basic and health services, disaster and calamity preparedness and response, and other vital services are exempted from the suspension and must continue their operations.

The memorandum cites Proclamation No. 60, s. 1992, which declared the last week of September of every year as Family Week, and Proclamation No. 326, s. 2012, which declared the fourth Monday of September as “Kainang Pamilya Mahalaga” Day.

Government employees in the Executive branch are encouraged to support programs and activities organized by the National Committee on the Filipino Family in observance of the occasion.

The circular also encourages other branches of government, independent commissions and bodies, and the private sector to suspend work to allow Filipino families to celebrate National Family Week.

LOOK | CSU Lasam faculty, personnel take oath as newly hired, promoted employees
Faculty members and administrative personnel from Cagayan State University (CSU) Lasam Campus officially took their ceremonial oath after being newly hired and promoted during the university-wide oath-taking ceremony held on July 30 at the New Administrative Building of CSU Lal-lo.
Among the CSU Lasam personnel who took the oath were newly appointed Instructor I faculty members Johnvee G. Dabbay and May Ann A. Agatep, along with newly hired Administrative Aide I personnel Kimberly Faye P. Sambo and Rayluck Joy Ramil.
The oath-taking brought together newly hired and promoted employees from CSU's nine campuses.
