Notre Dame of Salaman College Official Statement on Corruption in the Philippines

Corruption is not only a political problem; it is a moral wound that weakens our nation. It robs the poor of their rightful share, deprives communities of opportunities, and destroys the trust we place in leaders and institutions. As a Catholic institution in the Notre Dame tradition, Notre Dame of Salaman College cannot remain silent in the face of this injustice.

We declare with conviction: corruption is a sin against truth, justice, and the dignity of every Filipino. It is a betrayal of the people and an obstacle to genuine progress.

We call upon our leaders in government and society to act with honesty, transparency, and accountability. We urge them to place the common good above personal gain. At the same time, we challenge our students, alumni, and partners to become courageous witnesses of integrity—agents of change who will lead not by political colors but by truth, justice, and service.

As an academic and faith community, we reaffirm our mission: to educate men and women of conscience, leaders whose lives are guided by faith, integrity, and compassion. In the spirit of our Notre Dame heritage, we commit ourselves to shaping a future where corruption finds no refuge, and where the light of truth and justice prevails.

It is the Diamond Crown, forged in the spirit of NDSC’s 60 years of triumph, resilience, and glory. They will clash in elegance, in wit, and in power.

Some will falter, some will fade, but only one will shine and reign as Ms. NDSC 2025? The answer will be revealed on the brilliant night of September 10, 2025, at the NDSC Gymnasium.

📣A reminder for students of the high school and college uniform policy!

Students, on designated days, are hereby reminded to wear the prescribed school uniforms to maintain discipline, cohesion, and pride in the school.

FOR GRADE 7 & 11, COLLEGE FRESHMEN & TRANSFEREES
✅Effective Date: August 4, 2025 - ALL must wear the complete prescribed uniforms on designated school days.

NOTA BENE: ✅ The college freshmen and transferees can have their own seamstress/ tailor for their uniform, provided the prescribed design must be followed.

📅THE UNIFORM SCHEDULE:

📌High school students: Monday to Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday— School Uniform; P.E. attire (neat and appropriate) during P.E. Classes only; Wednesday - Decent Free style

📌College: According to the course/program regulations; Monday to Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday—School Uniform; PE attire- during PE Classes only; Wednesday- Wash Day / Decent Free style (neat and appropriate); Saturday - Decent free style

Note: Those Islam students wearing HIJAB should wear BLACK HIJAB with School Uniform and WHITE one on Free style.

✅WHAT TO EXPECT:

✅Uniforms must be clean, complete, and worn properly.

✅ID must always be worn on campus.

✅Shoes must be closed and appropriate for school activities.

🚫WHAT TO AVOID:

🚫Altered or accessorized uniforms that violate school decorum.

🚫Any clothing that is revealing, skintight, or over the top for Casual Wednesday/ Saturday.

Important Advisory for COLLEGE Department

This is to inform all College students that there will be no classes on June 27-28, 2025 (Friday and Saturday) due to the conduct of the In-Service Training (INSET) for both Full-time and Part-time Faculty members.

Please note that while classes are suspended, school offices will remain open to accommodate student transactions such as:

o Enrollment
o Checking of Class Schedules
o Requests for documents
o Letter of Requests for Tutorial Subject/s (*only for Graduating Students)
Other academic concerns

We encourage all students to take this opportunity to complete any pending transactions. Note also the COLLEGE GENERAL ORENTATION on June 30, 2025, 8:00AM. Then, REGULAR CLASSES formally start on Tuesday.
