Per BU Graduate School Office Memorandum No. 159, series of 2026, graduate students are reminded that the deadline for the payment of assessed fees for the 1st Semester, SY 2026–2027 is August 29, 2026 (Saturday).

Students with assessed fees are directed to settle their accounts on or before the deadline to ensure the timely processing and finalization of enrollment records.

Kindly take note of the deadline and make the necessary arrangements accordingly.

𝗕𝗨 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 | CHED SIKAP SCHOLARSHIP

CALL FOR APPLICATIONS | The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Regional Office V has announced the extended schedule of applications for the Scholarships for Staff and Instructors’ Knowledge Advancement Program (SIKAP) for Batches 4 and 5.

Please take note of the following application deadlines:

SIKAP-R (Regular/Plantilla) & SIKAP-N (Non-regular/Non-plantilla)
Batch 4 Deadline: September 7, 2026
Batch 5 Deadline: October 5, 2026

SIKAP-L (Legal Education)
Batch 4 Deadline: August 31, 2026
Batch 5 Deadline: October 23, 2026

Applications for SIKAP-R and SIKAP-N must be submitted directly through the official portal: https://sikap.ched.gov.ph

All interested applicants must ensure they meet the complete eligibility requirements prescribed under the applicable SIKAP Guidelines before submitting.

The Bicol University Graduate School (BUGS) announces the schedule of the Written Comprehensive Examination for each graduate program for the First Semester, SY 2026–2027.

Students who intend to take the examination must be officially enrolled and are required to submit their application to the BUGS Registrar’s Office not later than two (2) weeks before their scheduled examination date.

Please note that the examination schedules of other graduate programs shall be updated from time to time by this Office.

The Bicol University Graduate School (BUGS) is now accepting applications for admission to its graduate programs for the Second Semester, SY 2026–2027. Applications are open to interested individuals who wish to pursue either master's or doctoral degree programs.

The deadline for the submission of applications is September 15, 2026. Release of results will start on November 15, 2026.

The Bicol University Graduate School (BUGS) announces that the deadline for the submission of hardbound copies for Midyear 2026 is August 22, 2026 (Saturday).

All candidates for graduation for Midyear 2026 are hereby directed to submit their bound copies to the BUGS Registrar’s Office on or before the said date for recording and processing.

𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐂𝐄: IMPLEMENTATION OF MANDATORY 2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION OF BU STUDENT EMAIL ACCOUNTS

Academic integrity and digital security go hand in hand. To safeguard your academic records, communications, and university resources across platforms like BU LMS, the iBU Portal, and Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Classroom), Bicol University is implementing an essential security upgrade.

Effective immediately, all Bicol University students are required to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on their official BU Email accounts.

This added layer of security introduces an essential secondary verification step beyond your password, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access to your account and integrated student portals.

Start Date: August 13, 2026

Deadline: August 26, 2026 (15-day compliance)

We highly recommend completing this setup early to prevent any potential disruptions to your academic activities and access to crucial platforms such as the BU LMS, iBU Portal, and Google Workspace (including Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Classroom).
