Today, we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day, honoring the life and legacy of Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr., whose courage and unwavering love for the Filipino people became a defining part of our nation’s history.

His sacrifice reminds us that the pursuit of freedom, democracy, and truth often calls for courage beyond oneself. May we remember not only the life he gave, but also the ideals he stood for, and the responsibility that comes with carrying them forward.

May his legacy continue to inspire every Filipino to stand with courage, serve with purpose, and believe in the power of a nation united by hope.

The University of Santo Tomas–Legazpi invites the Legazpi Thomasian community to the Baccalaureate Mass and 78th Solemn Investiture of the Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the College of Health Sciences and Education on August 19, 2026, at the UST–Legazpi Dome.

With the theme, Legazpi Thomasians: United in Mission, this milestone celebration marks an important chapter in the academic journey of our Medical Technology graduates as they prepare to bring their knowledge, skills, and Legazpi Thomasian formation into the healthcare profession.
