โ€‹Being a law professor requires a special kind of heroismโ€”one that involves voluntarily reading hundreds of pages of obscure legal doctrines, grading essays that blur the line between brilliant argumentation and sheer panic, and maintaining a straight face when we attempt to cite cases we clearly skimmed in the hallway five minutes before class.

โ€‹You are all our unsung heroes not just because you teach us what the law is, but because you teach us how to think, fight, and stand up for what is right. You push us past our comfort zones, turn our existential dread into analytical precision, and remind us that behind every statute and precedent are real human lives waiting for justice.
