𝗕𝗨𝗲ñ𝗼𝘀, 𝗺𝗮𝗴-𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘆 𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝘂𝗹𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝘆𝗼𝗻

Pinapaalalahanan ang lahat, lalo na ang mga BUeños, na maging lubos na maingat at mapagmatyag kasunod ng patuloy na strombolian activity ng Bulkang Mayon. Ang ganitong uri ng aktibidad ay maaaring magdulot ng biglaang pagsabog, pagbuga ng lava, abo, at mga batong maaaring mapanganib sa kalusugan at kaligtasan.

Mahigpit na ipinapayo ang pagsunod sa mga abiso at direktiba ng mga kinauukulang ahensya, kabilang ang agarang paglikas kung kinakailangan at pag-iwas sa mga itinakdang danger zones. Ugaliing magsuot ng face mask upang makaiwas sa paglanghap ng abo, manatili sa loob ng bahay hangga’t maaari, at panatilihing handa ang mga emergency kit.

Ang kaligtasan ng bawat isa ang pangunahing dapat isaalang-alang. Manatiling alerto, makinig sa opisyal na anunsyo, at pairalin ang disiplina at kooperasyon sa ganitong mga pagkakataon.

The University Student Council (USC) extends its warmest congratulations to the newly elected officers for the academic year 2026–2027.

Your election is a clear reflection of the trust and confidence placed in you by the student body. It is both an honor and a responsibility and one that calls for dedication, integrity, and a sincere commitment to serve. As you take on your respective roles, may you lead with purpose, guided by the values of accountability, inclusivity, and genuine service.

The USC also recognizes and commends all candidates who participated in this year’s elections. Your courage to step forward and contribute to this democratic process is worthy of respect and appreciation.

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗨𝗦𝗖 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗦𝗟𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗟 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦

The General Legislative Council (GLC) serves as a high-level policy-making and legislative body, functioning as a co-equal branch alongside the Executive Council. It is tasked with deliberating on key policies, institutional reforms, and measures that shape the direction of student governance. To date, the GLC has convened three times, providing a formal space for legislative discourse and decision-making.

Meanwhile, the Student Regent, in coordination with the Constitutional Convention, has convened two consultative sessions during the second semester. These engagements are aimed at reviewing, reconciling, and modernizing the existing Constitution and By-Laws to ensure that they remain responsive, relevant, and reflective of the current needs of the student body.

In both legislative and consultative settings, the presence and active participation of USC Officers are critical. Absences, particularly without valid justification, limit representation and weaken the collective process of decision-making.

As certified by the Secretary-General, coordination and consultative meetings refer to those convened by the University Student Council to engage, inform, and consult the College Student Councils regarding the Council’s financial standing, ongoing initiatives, and upcoming activities. These meetings serve as a vital platform for alignment, transparency, and collaborative decision-making across all student councils.

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝗨𝗦𝗖 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗥 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚𝗦

Pursuant to the USC Constitution and By-Laws, regular meetings are convened and presided over by the Chairperson as the primary deliberative body of the Council. These meetings serve as the official venue for discussing policies, addressing student concerns, evaluating ongoing initiatives, and making collective decisions that directly impact the student body.

In this regard, the consistent attendance of all USC Officers is not only encouraged but expected as part of their mandate and accountability to the constituency they serve.

𝗕𝗨𝗲ñ𝗼𝘀, 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗖𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗦𝗖’𝗦 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘

Pursuant to the provisions of the USC Constitution and By-Laws, and as further reinforced by the USC Financial Policy Code, all bona fide students are required to settle the USC Fee in the amount of ₱𝟱𝟭.𝟬𝟬.

In accordance with the same policy, 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝟳𝟬%) of all collected USC Fees shall be remitted to the University Student Council on or before the last working day of November 2025. The 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘆 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝟯𝟬%) must likewise be duly remitted on or before the last working day of February 2026, in compliance with prescribed financial procedures.

As of today, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 (𝟱) 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗱 with the prescribed remittance requirements. We strongly encourage all students to settle their USC fee promptly to support the timely and efficient delivery of student services and programs.
