โœจQUALIFICATIONS:

โ€ข A bona fide student of Bicol University
โ€ข Someone with skills in playing any rondalla instruments
โ€ข Can read musical notations
โ€ข Can commit to rehearsals & performances

๐ŸŽตAUDITION PROCESS:

WHEN: The audition will only run on August 4-7, 2026 (5PM ONWARDS)

WHAT: Prepare at least 1 (one) musical piece of your choice.

WHERE: Look for Prof. Apple N. Rubio, coordinator of BU Kuerdas Operandi, at BUCE Dominador Aytona Building (in front of BUCE flagpole).

Today, the Bicol University Chorale was given the opportunity to be coached by an esteemed alumnus of the Philippine Madrigal Singers, artist, and a conductor, Mr. Joey Gianan Vargas. The art of dance transcends cultural and language barriers. The art itself is a universal language widely understood by many and a representation of one's culture and heritage. Today, we celebrate its importance in connecting lives through entertainment and art.

In Bicol University, we value the art of dance and its contribution to the cultural and artistic landscape. Through our BU Culture and the Arts Program, we appreciate the art form as an opportunity to recognize its ability to connect, inspire, and entertain people.
