For over a decade, the Philippine Startup Challenge (PSC) has empowered student innovators across the country to think boldly, solve real-world challenges, and take their first steps into the Philippine startup ecosystem. As it enters its 11th year, PSC will introduce an enhanced program – offering an even stronger platform to help students transform their ideas into startup-ready solutions.

Open to Senior High School, College, and Techvoc students, PSC XI introduces an enhanced journey that guides teams from ideation to prototype development. Beyond showcasing innovative ideas, participants will take part in mentorship sessions with industry experts and startup enablers, helping them strengthen their ideas, refine their solutions, and build their skills.

If you're building an ICT-enabled solution powered by software, AI, IoT, Web3, blockchain, mixed reality, or other emerging technologies, this is your opportunity to learn, innovate, and build solutions that create meaningful impact. 🌟

The Bicol Consortium for Regional Startup Enablers (BiCoRSE) successfully conducted its Learning Expedition to National University of Kaoshiung, Taiwan, and other innovation and startup ecosystem institutions from August 16 to 20, 2026.

The learning engagement provided the delegation with valuable opportunities to gain insights into Kaoshiung, Taiwan’s innovation and startup ecosystem, explore best practices in entrepreneurship and innovation support, engage with key ecosystem players, and establish meaningful connections for potential collaborations.

Through this international learning experience, BiCoRSE continues to strengthen its commitment to developing a more connected, collaborative, and globally informed startup ecosystem in the Bicol Region.

The insights, experiences, and
connections gained from this expedition will contribute to the continuing efforts of BiCoRSE and its partner institutions in empowering startups, innovators, and ecosystem enablers toward a more vibrant and sustainable innovation ecosystem.

BiCoRSE Project REACH proudly took part in DOST Bicol's 2026 Regional Science, Technology, and Innovation Week (RSTW) x Piñavation last August 19-21, 2026, joining fellow innovators, researchers, and ecosystem builders in advancing science, technology, and innovation across the region.

As part of the 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺, BiCoRSE shared insights on the Bicol Startup Ecosystem, highlighting the collaborative efforts shaping innovation and technopreneurship in the region.

BiCoRSE also joined the 𝗶𝗛𝘂𝗯 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺, discussing "How to Establish a Technology Business Incubator (TBI): Lessons and Best Practices," alongside an overview of the Bicol Startup Ecosystem — sharing key learnings to guide the growth of incubation programs across Bicol.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to DOST Bicol for the invitation and for recognizing BiCoRSE's role in strengthening the region's startup ecosystem. Being part of these forums reaffirms our shared commitment to building a more connected, innovative, and thriving Bicol.
