The College Student Government, together with the institution's Academic Administration, participated in a consultative meeting with representatives from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) โ€“ Economic and Financial Learning Office on July 8, 2026, as part of the preparations for the Economic and Financial Learning Program (EFLP) to be conducted in Legazpi City on September 23โ€“24, 2026, for students and employees.

The meeting focused on identifying relevant financial education topics and planning engaging learning activities that will help participants develop practical financial knowledge and make informed financial decisions in their everyday lives.

Joining the consultative meeting were the College Student Government officers under the guidance of Mr. Erwin A. Barba, CSG Adviser, together with Dr. Teresita B. Capellan, Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Through this growing partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, CAT College continues to strengthen its commitment to empowering CATCnians with the knowledge and skills needed to become financially responsible, confident, and well-informed individuals.

๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒณ ALAY LAKAD, TANIM KAHOY 2026 ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฑ

The CAT COLLEGE proudly took part in the City Governmentโ€™s Tree Planting Activity held at Sitio 1, Caridad, Banquerohan, Legazpi City. We arrived as early as 6:00 AM, ready to witness and actively participate in this meaningful environmental initiative.

Together with our dedicated SCG Adviser, Mr. Erwin Barba, SCG President Carl Justine Olavario, and the different Departmental Officers, we planted not just treesโ€”but also hope for a greener and more sustainable future. ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ’š

This activity reminds us that small actions, when done together, create lasting impact for our community and the next generations.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our School President, Engr. Andrew Rey M. Belleza, MSME, and Dr. Teresita B. Capellan, for their unwavering support and encouragement in all our endeavors. Your leadership continues to inspire us to serve with purpose and responsibility.
