Goodlife Youth Movement Organization Incorporated (GYMO Inc.) and International Christian Stewardship Institute Inc. (ICSI) entered into a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding during a ceremonial signing in Espanya, Manila, on August 26, 2024, National Heroes Day.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. ML San Luis, President and National Director of ICSI, and Mr. Karl Lyndon Sabio, National Chairperson of GYMO Inc. Also present were Ms. Jen Paris, ICSI Vice President for Core Operations, and Mr. Martin Aron Resueño, ICSI Youth Program Coordinator.

The partnership with ICSI was established through GYMO Inc.'s commitment to making a positive impact on communities by empowering and leading the youth through core values and well-defined objectives. This initiative was supported and approved by Mr. Albert C. Arroco., National Chairperson of GCCFI, for the OLT Program in the Youth Sector.

This operational year, GYMO Inc. is focusing on enhancing the skills of local organization officers, preparing them to be effective leaders in their communities.

The partnership between ICSI and GYMO Inc. recognizes the importance of collaboration to maximize the impact of their missions and provide a comprehensive leadership training program for youth. The Outreach Leadership Training Program (OLTP) has been identified as a strategic initiative aligned with the missions of both organizations, aiming to equip young individuals with essential leadership and management skills.

The OLTP is structured to include seven online sessions providing foundational knowledge, followed by a hands-on practicum, allowing participants to apply what they have learned in real-world settings. This approach was discussed and shaped by young graduate professionals.

Two batches of the OLTP are scheduled for the Bicol and Mindanao regions, targeting GYMO Inc. local organization officers for the year 2025.

Both organizations share a commitment to fostering the development of future leaders who can make meaningful contributions to their communities through service and stewardship.

International Christian Stewardship Institute Inc. (ICSI) is a non-stock, non-profit organization based in Makati, Manila, dedicated to youth development. ICSI equips individuals with essential leadership and resource management skills through training and seminars.

It's a wrap for the Goodlife Youth Movement Organization.

On May 17, 2024, the executives of the organization conducted their graceful exits as prescribed by their memorandum, preparing and finalizing their papers and headquarters.

This was followed by localized visits to their local organization in Libon, Baao, San Jose, and Calabanga Community College from May 20-22, 2024. These visits were aimed at strengthening organizational bonds and unifying the shared vision for the community. During these visits, they compiled and signed all their accomplishment reports, renewed the MOA agreements between the organization and the institutions, recognized officers by awarding certificates, and provided subsidies as part of the commitment to the MOA and return to the officers.

Despite the bad weather on May 25, 2024, the organization successfully conducted the Student Assistance Program (SFAP) for 47 student members of the LiComCo Goodlife Cares Club, providing each with Php 1,500.00 in cash assistance. This aims to give back in return for their community extension and outreach work done in Ligao City. The program was facilitated by the finance officer and auditor of the organization, while the national chairperson attended the NYC YORP event in San Fernando, La Union.

These wrap-up events made the executives realize the extent of their accomplishments and the progress of the organization despite the challenges faced in recent months while establishing the youth sector. This was made possible with the full support of the Board of Trustees within the Goodlife Foundation, the National Chairperson of GCCFI, Sir Albert C. Arroco, and BOT member Albert Hilario.

The vibrant spirit of caring and nurturing took center stage as kindergarten students, facilitated by the dedicated SK Bobonsuran and LGCC members who, came together for enriching feeding sessions. These moments not only filled hungry stomachs but also sowed seeds of compassion, highlighting the profound truth that feeding is a profound act of caring. The collaboration between the energetic kindergarten participants and the supportive SK Bobonsuran and LGCC members painted a beautiful picture of community involvement, echoing the sentiment that in every shared meal, we cultivate bonds that go beyond nourishing the body they nourish the soul.
