Love is best shared over delicious treats!❤️

This Valentine’s Day, the Culinary Warriors surprised our incredible CTHM instructors with a sweet gesture of appreciation. On February 14th, we delivered a special cookie bouquet, filled with love and gratitude for all they do. Each cookie was a token of our admiration, baked with care and love. We wanted to show our instructors just how much they mean to us, adding a little extra sweetness to their day. It was a small gesture, but we hope it made a big impact. Cheers to more moments of kindness and love shared within our CW family.

Last November 19, 2024, we proudly celebrated the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected officers from various accredited student organizations at Pangasinan State University-Lingayen Campus. Held in the university’s open field, this significant event marked the beginning of a new chapter for these dedicated student leaders.

Among the honorees was the Píece de Resístance- PSU Culinary Warriors, who now take on the significant duty of representing their organization and promoting excellence within their field. This ceremony symbolized not only their commitment to leadership but also their dedication to upholding the values of the university.

It was a day filled with inspiration and hope, as these student leaders pledged to contribute meaningfully to their organizations and the campus community. Congratulations to all the newly sworn-in officers! May this milestone mark the start of a remarkable journey toward growth, connection, and success.

Look | The Pìece de Resístance- PSU Culinary Warriors recently joined hands in a campus-wide clean-up drive, focusing on the commercial and hot kitchen areas. Last Tuesday, November 12, 2024, officers worked on organizing and deep-cleaning, and took inventory of kitchen equipment to ensure everything was in top shape. This cleanup was part of a broader effort led by the Pangasinan State University-Lingayen Campus' Supreme Student Council. Together with other organizations and faculties, they aimed to promote several of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 17 (Partnership for the Goals).

Through this effort, the Culinary Warriors and all involved demonstrated the power of teamwork in maintaining a clean, organized, and motivating environment. The teamwork in this drive truly reflects the PSU-Lingayen community’s dedication to a clean, organized campus that supports quality education and sustainable practices for all students and staff.

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management - Pangasinan State University (CTHM) brought together students, faculty, and accredited organizations for a memorable General Assembly and Orientation on November 6, 2024, at the Golden Lion Hotel, Aseana Hall. The event was a vibrant showcase of unity, collaboration, and pride, celebrating the achievements and aspirations within the CTHM community.

Led by the Future Restaurateur and Hotelier Club, the event opened with welcoming remarks and activities that fostered camaraderie and insight-sharing among attendees. Faculty members received recognition for their dedication and joined in a Family Feud game, while the students enjoyed watching and cheering for each team.

Dr. Mondey May Fernandez shared valuable information on course specifications, while Dr. Jerry Ceballos Jr. and Mr. Senando M. Evangelista emphasized the importance of proper grooming, dress codes, and the college’s no-plastic policies. A power dressing ramp, modeled by CTHM students, served as an inspiring example of professionalism and confidence.

The event also celebrated the hard work of various CTHM organizations and welcomed the new sets/elected officers of each accredited organizations, including the Tourism Apprentices' Leadership Alliance, and D' Stewards : Hospitality Student Ambassadors.

Aside from the recognition of newly elected officers, the Culinary Warriors, under the leadership of Mr. Benjie Payoyo and supported by our dedicated adviser Dr. Genelyn Castro-Tersona and Dr. Leoncio F. Barlan Jr. (Chef Junjun Barlan), last Academic Year 2023 -2024 was honored with a certificate of recognition during the General Assembly and Orientation. This achievement reflects their commitment to excellence, passion and teamwork throughout their administration.

As the event came to a close, students and faculty joined together for a unity dance, moving to the popular Filipino song “Karera” by BINI, bringing energy and joy to an unforgettable day. It was a day of celebrating achievements and looking toward a bright future, inspiring CTHM students to continue excelling in the tourism and hospitality industry.

In line with the forecast of the severe tropical storm , many citizens, especially PSU-LCians, are highly affected and are currently in need of help. With that, the Supreme Student Council of Pangasinan State University - Lingayen Campus calls for donations that will surely benefit not just our fellow PSU-LCians, but those who are in need during this time.

For other voluntary donations, i.e., relief packs, and any in-kind donations, you can give them to the guards at Pangasinan State University - Lingayen Campus Main Gate.

Every donation, no matter how small, can make a significant difference. Together, let us help our fellow PSU-LCians as well as our fellow Filipinos who are in need.

The activity will highlight the creativity and performance skills of students of the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 on showcasing a scrumptious, appealing, and mouth-watering food delicacies, as well as their cooking skills and creative overall table presentation to promote Tourism Month 2024 with the theme of "Tourism and Peace: 30 Years of Connecting People, Places, and Culture".

𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆:

𝟏. A team competition is open to all bona fide students of Pangasinan State University-Lingayen Campus under the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
𝟐. Each block will choose a delicacy within the province of Pangasinan.
𝟑. The participants must be able to present the chosen delicacy.
𝟒. Participants must provide their own tools, utensils, and other materials to make their booth.
𝟓. The same delicacy is allowed.
𝟔. The participants are allowed to find a sponsor.
𝟕. Participants are advised to wear corporate/business attire. 8. Judges' decisions are final and irrevocable.

𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐀 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐉𝐔𝐃𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆:

• 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝟒𝟎%): Showcase a unique and realistic presentation of the dish.
• 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐥 (𝟑𝟎%): Look for originality in how the dish is presented and styled.
• 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 (𝟐𝟎%): Ensure the dish was prepared in a clean and hygienic manner.
• 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 (𝟏𝟎%): Participants in a professional manner in terms of attire, presentation, and attitude.
