Did your lolo or lola leave Pangasinan for the United States and its territories decades ago? Their journey is history worth preserving!
Pangasinan Polytechnic College (PPC), in collaboration with the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC), launched Saritaan, a community archive project documenting the migration histories, agrarian lives, and enduring connections between Pangasinan and the Filipino diaspora across the United States and its territories.
As part of the Archive Campaign, we are inviting families with migration histories to join our scheduled interviews across Pangasinan:
๐
July 11, Saturday - Mangatarem
๐
July 12, Sunday - TBA
๐
July 18, Saturday - Villasis
๐
July 25, Saturday - Binalonan
Interviews will be conducted in Pangasinan, Ilocano, Filipino, and English. You may bring up to ten family documents for scanning, and all of which will be returned to you after the archive campaign.
