The College of Education and Liberal Arts successfully conducted their first ever Educational Tour on April 24, 2026. The tour offers meaningful chances that extend their learning beyond the classroom. With the guidance of Sir Cris Paulo Sabillo, CELA Faculty and Joy Voyage Travels and Tours, they kept the students safe and sound from departure to itineraries until the tour was over.
The educational tour featured a series of meaningful visits to some of the countryโ€™s most significant cultural and historical institutions. The journey began at the Museo ni Manuel Quezon located in Quezon Memorial Circle in Diliman Quezon City , a memorial site dedicated to the late President Manuel L. Quezon, showcasing exhibits that highlight key moments and contributions in his life. This was followed by a visit to the Presidential Car Museum in the same location, where a collection of vehicles used by past Philippine presidents is carefully preserved and displayed.
The group then proceeded to The Mind Museum, located in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, where interactive and engaging exhibits deepened the studentsโ€™ understanding of various scientific concepts. The final stop was the National Museum of Anthropology, an archive of the nationโ€™s rich cultural heritage, which offers valuable insights into the diverse traditions and history of the Filipino people.
Before concluding the tour, the students were given time to unwind at the Mall of Asia, allowing them to relax, bond with peers, and create lasting memories.
This enriching experience promoted a deeper sense of appreciation and understanding among future educators, highlighting the significant role of experiential learning in developing informed, reflective, and culturally grounded individuals and Educators.
