Sandpaper art in monochrome focuses on using a single shade—usually black, white, or gray—to create depth and texture. Instead of relying on colors, the rough surface of the sandpaper brings out strong contrasts, shadows, and highlights. This technique emphasizes form, value, and texture, allowing the artwork to stand out through its simplicity and dramatic tones.
