UPLB is undergoing institutional-level assessment for ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) certification.  The process formally began

UPLB officially began the 18th ASEAN University Network–Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) Institutional Level Assessment from 11–15 May 2026, staying true to its continuing commitment to quality, growth, and institutional excellence.

The UPLB Quality Assurance Office extends its heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders, staff, and partners who are part of this important endeavor. 🌿 Let’s make this week count.

𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗠 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗕✨

The UPLB Quality Assurance Office (QAO), led by Director Prof. Myra G. Borines, welcomed delegates from Sorsogon State University and City College of Calamba for a benchmarking visit under the UPLB Higher Education Leadership and Mentoring (HELM) Fellowship Program, led by the UPLB Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education (OIDHE).

The visiting delegates were Dr. Vivien L. Chua, Director of the International Relations Office of Sorsogon State University, and Dr. Gerby R. Muya, Vice President for College Advancement and Relations of City College of Calamba.

Through the HELM Fellowship, partner institutions engage in structured mentorship and benchmarking, strengthening exposure to UPLB’s quality assurance systems and practices.

The visit highlighted key QA processes and institutional practices of UPLB QAO in support of continuous quality improvement.
