"Under the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007, dog rabies vaccination refers to the inoculation of a dog with rabies vaccine by a licensed government or private Veterinarian or trained individual under the direct supervision of a licensed veterinarian. The services of the said trained individual shall be limited only to Rabies Vaccination Injection in Dogs and only during government mass vaccination campaigns. In saying this, the trained animal rabies vaccinators needed to be fully equipped by the staff from the National and Regional Animal Health Offices to ensure correct information dissemination and vaccination procedures are done during their specific mass vaccination campaign. This includes all types of vaccinator volunteers including student clinicians or members of an Organization."
In line with this, we are inviting all UP CVM Students especially student clinicians to attend this training for animal rabies vaccinators on SEPTEMBER 5-6, 2016 in CVM-ADSC Communal Building Lecture room 1 at 6:00 pm. FREE DINNER for the first 80 people to register. Registration starts at 5:00 pm, September 05, 2016.
