Reminder for our students/eSKOLARS in the Master of Public Management (MPM) Program taking the Comprehensive Examinations: 4 days to go before the day of your General Field exams; 11 days, before the major field exams!

By now, you should have reviewed your notes coming from a regular study schedule on core concepts with practical applications of PM 201 and Pm 208 for the General Field Exam and PM 241 for the PPPA major field, PM 251 for the LGRA major filed, and PM 281 for the VSM field, all with some research skills.

Of course, nothing beats physical preparation having a good night's sleep before the day and eating a full meal on the day to help you get focused.

You also need a lot of good vibes. Stay relaxed and positive. We in the MPM program wish you success in the examinations!

ICYMI: HR OF THE FUTURE

On 11 December 2024, three distinguished speakers talked about the future of work in the different sectors.

In particular, Ms. Flo Rivera, Mr. LA Depante, and Mr. Brian Hipolito discussed the future skills humans must have to thrive in a brittle, anxious, non-linear, and incomprehensible world of work. The speakers emphasized the need to harness the power of data as a tool for decision-making, as well as the need to develop soft skills such as resilience, empathy, and innovation. They also highlighted how lifelong learning can be an important tool to brace the impacts of a rapidly changing world.

Over 400 participants registered for the mini-forum organized by the Master of Public Management (MPM) Program and the FMDS Public Service Committee.
