Another one for DAME!

Team Elbinnovation proudly finished as a Top 10 finalist in the HABI 4.0 Workshop organized by the Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DepDev), held last April 28, 2026 at Diamond Hotel Manila.

The workshop focused on AI-driven solutions, with the team competing under the Food and Agribusiness sector. Their proposed innovation highlights an inclusive AI approach designed to reach far-flung communities such as Majayjay, Laguna, and the country through SMS-based technology instead of relying solely on internet-based AI platforms. The solution addresses accessibility and communication gaps, empowering farmers to make better farming decisions, build informed strategies, and access more opportunities through SMS-enabled AI.

The team is composed of Alliah Pacao (BS ABME, CEM), John Marc Del Mundo (BS ABME, CEM), and Jan Carlo Cabrera (BS Computer Science, CAS). Coaches: Asst. Prof. Ezekiel C. Macatula and Asst. Prof. Cris Edwin B. Bonalos.

We’re proud of you, team! Cheers to the excellence of DAME students! 👏
