Every semester, filing for inactivity among organizational members is inevitable. This may be due to multiple varying reasons like academic responsibilities, personal reasons, and others. So, what steps should student organizations take when it comes to inactivity matters?

UPLB OSA recognizes the independence of the constitution and by-laws of each student organization (SO) in line with their inactivity matters. We highly advise all members of an SO to review their constitution and bylaws for filing for inactivity to comply accordingly.

✔️ HOWEVER! The SO’s point person (PP) must declare the inactivity of its resident members who filed for inactivity for every semester. You may review the OSA AVP on updating your organization’s profile to locate where to facilitate this process at bit.ly/OSAOrgProfileUpdating, or you can scan the QR code below!

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗨𝗣𝗟𝗕 𝗢𝗦𝗔 𝗙𝗔𝗤 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸! 💡

A student organization's activity has been approved by OSA and conducted accordingly. However, there are instances when these activities may not be reflected promptly in the organization account on OSAM. How can this be resolved by OSA or the student organization?

Do not fret. Let us guide you through this!

Firstly, congratulations on the conduct of your activity! After the conduct of your activity, it is indeed a must that all student organizations comply with the narrative report of each organizational activity. Should the student organization be able to accomplish the narrative report of their activities, but do not see any submission bin reflected on OSAM, contact OSA for this!

If your activity does not reflect on OSAM...
✔️ Contact OSA through email or Facebook
✔️ Inform OSA of the details about the deficiencies on OSAM on the organization's end
✔️ Provide a copy of the approved AP/LOI for verification and checking

How long can a faculty member or REPS serve as a student organization adviser? Should there be changes in our advisers, how do we change their details on OSAM?

Here are brief answers to your concerns on your dear student organization (SO) advisers!
✔️ A faculty member or REPS can serve a student organization as long as they are able to perform their tasks and responsibilties promptly; and
✔️ You can change your advisers on OSAM after your discussion or agreement with them, as long as you formalize this request through a letter and send it to OSA!
