Born in 1982 as sisters to the UP Society of Men during a time when the practitioners of veterinary medicine were predominantly male, the UP Societas Mulierum strives and continues to uphold women of the veterinary profession, honing their potential, and training them to be well-rounded and competent leaders and citizens of society, all the while celebrating and living out the values of the sister

hood - mutual respect and abiding love. Such are the principles instilled in each Mulieri making up this Society of Women, the UP Societas Mulierum - women of beauty, brains, character and great potential.

Behind the curtain, generations of Mulieris have taken the stage with grace, loyalty, and quiet strength, each contributing a role that shaped the legacy of UP Societas Mulierum. Every act of service, from our food pantry initiatives, and every moment of fellowship, shared over our anniversary dinner, are scenes that reflect our collective purpose and enduring bond.

As the curtain rises on our 43rd year on December 4, 2025, we pause to honor every role played, every line spoken with conviction, and every memory etched into our history. This milestone is not merely a celebration, but a standing ovation for the women who came before us and the sisters who continue the performance today.

Big thanks to our amazing donors, sponsors, and everyone who joined the fun at 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 2025—we couldn’t have done it without you! 👾
