Starting 9AM today, the Local COMELECs of all the colleges and campuses of SLSU will distribute their respective Google Form links, which will serve as the official ballot for the SLSU SSCF Federal Popular Elections.

Students, this is the day you will cast your votes for candidates you believe qualify for their respective positions. This is where all the preceding activities led up to. Now, the power to decide who among these candidates shall continue the legacy of the SLSU Supreme Student Council Federation is in your hands.

SSCF Elections '26 | Miting de Avance: Yes or No Segment

Yesterday, during the Miting de Avance for the SLSU SSCF Federal Popular Elections '26, one of the activities was the “Yes or No” portion. This part made the opinions and stances of each candidate evident to the students of the university.

The SLSU Federal Commission on Elections (FEDCOM) officially releases the updated timeline of activities for the upcoming SSCF Federal Popular Elections through Memorandum Order No. 5, s. 2026, issued today, April 14, 2026.

In compliance with administrative adjustments—including the rescheduling of events to observe the university's Thursday and Friday policy—the student body is hereby informed of the following updated schedule:

Screening of Aspirants – April 15, 2026
Campaign Period – April 16–27, 2026
Miting de Avance – April 28, 2026
Election Day (Online) – April 30, 2026
Proclamation Day – To Be Announced

The Commission remains committed to a fair and inclusive democratic process and encourages every student to stay informed and participate actively in choosing our future leaders.

Here is the official list of duly elected Senators for A.Y. 2026–2027, as announced by the SLSU Federal COMELEC today, March 21, through Memorandum Circular No. 3, s. 2026.

The Memorandum highlights the Senators-elect from the recent Local Student Council Elections across the local colleges and campuses, and identifies the individuals eligible to file their candidacy for the upcoming SSCF Federal Popular Election 2026.

This Memo is hereby directed for immediate and wide dissemination.

TO ALL THE STUDENTS OF SLSU

The Commission formally announces the extension of the filing period for the Certificates of Candidacy (COC) for the AY 2026-2027 SSCF Federal Popular Elections. This is in accordance with MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR No. 02, s.2026, issued today, March 20, 2026.

Qualified student leaders now have until March 27, 2026, to submit their documents. This extension aims to ensure a more inclusive and representative electoral process by providing eligible aspirants ample time to finalize their requirements.
