NEWS UPDATE | SLSU attains 73.40%, 73.33% passing rates in LEPT
Southern Luzon State University (SLSU) - Main Campus garnered 73.40% and 73.33% passing rates in both secondary and elementary level of the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), respectively, Dec. 18.
Out of 94 examinees at the secondary level, 69 passed, including 62 first-time takers and seven repeaters, while 11 out of 15 examinees passed in elementary level, consisting of seven first-timers and four repeaters.
For secondary level, both SLSU Tayabas and Tiaong obtained 100% ratings, Lucena and Polillo with both 50%, while Alabat, Tagkawayan, Gumaca, and Infanta earned 77.78%, 75.86%, 40%, and 25% passing rates, respectively.
Meanwhile, in the elementary level, SLSU Catanauan, Polillo, and Tagkawayan campus posted 58.33%, 84.38%, and 77.78% accordingly.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) listed 57,729 newly licensed professional secondary teachers out of 79,480 examinees, while 21,967 out of 42,996 takers qualified as newly licensed elementary teachers, with 72.63% and 51.09% national passing rate.
