On February 25, 2026, the Southern Luzon State University Gender and Development (GAD) Office held a Special Meeting at the REPDI Training Center.

The assembly brought together directors, deans, association leaders, and student representatives to discuss the integration of the mandated 5% GAD budget, updates on HGDG scoring, and strategies to strengthen gender mainstreaming across all university programs.

Key highlights included the presentation of current GAD expenditures, attribution practices, infrastructure support, and research integration. Flowcharts and the HGDG Checklist were also introduced as tools to ensure gender-responsiveness in planning and implementation.

This meeting reaffirmed SLSU’s commitment to inclusive, equitable, and accountable development, ensuring that Gender and Development remains a cornerstone of the university’s mission.
